Unchecked anger doesn’t just damage relationships, it begins to strip away the way we see the person in front of us.
Jesus takes us beneath the behavior and straight to the heart.
Anger is murder of a person’s soul.

The poor in spirit know they bring nothing to the table and somehow, that’s exactly what positions them to receive everything Jesus has to offer.
Jesus actually said, “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
When we stop pretending we have enough, know enough, or can do enough on our own, we make room to receive the Kingdom.
