Brooke's journey at Springfield Assisted Living is a wonderful example of dedication and hard work. She joined our team in September 2022 in the kitchen, transitioned to a Resident Aide in July 2023, and now, in July 2026, has achieved another milestone by becoming a Certified Medication Assistant.
In her new role, Brooke assists our residents by passing medications, taking vital signs, and administering insulin injections. Her commitment to learning, growing, and providing exceptional care has made her an invaluable member of our team.
We are incredibly proud of all that Brooke has accomplished and can't wait to see what the future holds for her. Please join us in congratulating her on this well-deserved achievement! 💙👏

Today, we quietly captured this beautiful scene in our dining room—a husband and wife, hand in hand, simply enjoying the afternoon together. No grand event. No special occasion. Just two people who have spent a lifetime loving each other, still finding comfort, peace and joy in each other’s company. It’s moments like these that remind us what truly matters. We're winding down our incredible Luau Week in true island style! 🌺🌴
Residents danced, played tropical games, and enjoyed a delicious Hawaiian-style fruit buffet filled with fresh, colorful treats. To top it all off, everyone cooled off with refreshing piña coladas that had us dreaming of a day in paradise!
A heartfelt thank you to Cherish Hospice for generously providing the fresh fruit and all the fixings for our piña coladas. Your kindness helped make our tropical celebration even more special for our residents. Mahalo! 🌺🍍🥥

We gave Monday Bingo a tropical makeover as part of our Luau Week celebration! Residents enjoyed a fun game of Aloha Bingo, rolling through the numbers in hopes of shouting "Bingo!" Lucky winners took home baskets overflowing with Hawaiian-themed goodies.
There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and island spirit to kick off another week of fun. One thing's for sure—you don't have to travel to Hawaii to catch the aloha spirit! 🌴🌺🍍
