The first school of its kind, Global Impact is a regionally-based STEM school out of Springfield, Ohio.
As an Ohio-based STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) school, Global Impact will prepare 9th through 12th graders for future careers in food, agriculture, energy, bioscience, environmental and related fields. Our curriculum is focused on project-based learning that teaches students hands-on application of theories and lessons into practical skills for the challenges of tomorrow. These challenges include: "How will we feed twice as many people in 40 years?" "How can we continue to create a sustainable energy economy?" and "In what ways can we account for environmental hazards in day-to-day living?"

At Global Impact STEM Academy, technology isn't just something students use. It’s a tool for learning, creating and solving real-world problems.
Through our 1:1 technology initiative, students have access to a MacBook Air along with hands-on experience using industry-standard tools such as 3D printers and laser cutters.
That means students can take an idea from concept to creation while developing technical skills, problem-solving abilities and confidence they can carry into college and future careers.
At Global Impact, we're preparing students to do more than keep up with technology. We're preparing them to use it with purpose.

The Geese Give Back Community Service Club had their first volunteer opportunity this week at the Second Harvest Food Bank where they sorted all the donated items, packed orders, and helped set up for an event!!
Learning goes beyond the classroom at Global Impact STEM Academy. Farm Science Review gives students the opportunity to explore agricultural innovation, emerging technology and real-world applications of what they're learning in class. Experiences like these help students connect STEM and agriculture to the careers, challenges and opportunities shaping our communities.
Reminder, Global Impact families: Friday, Sept. 18, is a virtual learning day.
Students will learn remotely and should be prepared to participate in their scheduled coursework from home. Virtual days help students continue making progress while practicing important skills like independence, responsibility and time management. Please watch for additional information from Global Impact regarding schedules and expectations for the day.
