As we wrap up our series highlighting the housing challenges many veterans face, we want to leave our community with one important message: You are not alone.
Our veterans answered the call to serve our country. They should never have to face discrimination or unnecessary barriers when seeking a safe place to call home.
If you are a veteran—or know a veteran—who has experienced housing discrimination, been denied housing because of a disability, been refused a reasonable accommodation, or needs help finding stable housing, resources are available.
Springfield Supported Housing Program is here to help connect veterans with housing resources, supportive services, and community partners who can assist in navigating housing challenges.

🌟 Gnome Spotted! 🌟

Our SSHP Gnomes have officially hit the road! They're helping us start conversations about homelessness and housing in communities throughout Windsor and Windham Counties—and we'd love your help spotting them.

This little guy was spotted at Smitty's Chester Market in Chester, VT! If you've been there, you know it's a community favorite with great food and even better people. We're thankful for all they do to support our community.

Every person experiencing homelessness has a story, and today we are honored to share one.

With his permission, Army veteran Rob has allowed Springfield Supported Housing Program to tell a part of his journey—from hardship and homelessness to hope and a place to call home.

We are deeply grateful for Rob's courage, his vulnerability, and his trust in allowing us to walk alongside him during this chapter of his life. We also thank him for his service to our country.

With rising temperatures over the next few days, here are some places to cool off!

- Lebanon Public Library, 9 E. Park St., 10am to 5pm (Closed Friday)
- Kilton Library, 80 Main St., West Lebanon, 10am to 5pm (Closed Friday)
- Lebanon Veterans Memorial Pool, 67 Pumping Station Road, 4pm to 7pm Free for Lebanon residents only.
- Upper Valley Senior Center, 10 Campbell St., 8am to 3pm (Senior citizens only)
- Lebanon Airport Terminal Building, 5 Airpark Road, West Lebanon, 8am to 5pm
