Meet Our Newest Veterinarian, Dr. Jack Fergenbaum! 🐾

We’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Jack Fergenbaum to the Spruce Hill Veterinary Clinic team! Dr. Jack will be joining us beginning August 3rd, and we can’t wait for you and your pets to meet him.

Dr. Jack Fergenbaum grew up in Sharon, Massachusetts and knew from a young age that veterinary medicine was his passion. He was always fond of dogs and cats, but his love for exotics blossomed after years of volunteering at a family-owned pet store. After pursuing an Animal Science degree with a concentration in Pre-Professional Medicine from the University of Maryland, Dr. Fergenbaum went to the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine for his DVM.

He joined a small animal clinic in the Champaign-Urbana area for a few years post-graduation but has now relocated back to Massachusetts to be closer to his partner, family, and friends. His three cats (Hayes, Maple, and Fern), curly hair tarantula (Bellatrix), and leopard gecko (Milo) made the journey from Illinois as well. Outside of work, Dr. Fergenbaum enjoys hiking, disc golfing, watching reality TV/anime, and playing Pokémon.

Look at this precious blast from the past. 🐱📸Here is Ms. Rosie at her very first vet visit back in May of 2005 with Dr. Crosson. 🩺 Can you spot her? She is the adorable little kitten on the right! It’s been such a joy watching her grow over the years —and she is looking absolutely great for 21!❤️🐾
