This site is intended for lead pastors wives, staff pastors wives, credentialed women, and special assignment ministry wives.

REFRESH is a place designed just for you - a ministry woman - to find refreshment for your spirit, mind and body and to connect with other ministry women. This will be a place to find resources and build relationships that will encourage you in your unique ministry role. We are affiliated with the Southern Missouri Network of the Assemblies of God and the National Women's Department of the Assemblies of God.

You don't have to see the whole way forward.
Sometimes we want God to give us the whole plan when He’s simply asking us to trust Him with the next step.
You may not know how everything is going to work out. You may not have clarity about what comes after this. But you can be faithful with what God has placed in front of you today. You don't need the whole map to take the next step with Him.

Refresh Moment: What is one thing God has already made clear that you can be faithful with today?

Nothing you bring to God surprises Him.
Not your questions.
Not your frustration.
Not your anger.
Not even the moments when you’re too overwhelmed to find the words.
Prayer doesn’t require you to clean up what you’re feeling before you come to Him. God invites honesty. He can handle the real, unfiltered places of your heart.

Refresh Moment: What would you say to God today if you knew you didn’t have to find the “right” words?

Hustle culture tells us that rest is laziness.
God’s Word tells us something different.
Rest can be an act of trust a way of saying,
“God, I trust You with what I haven’t finished yet.”

You don’t have to finish everything today.
You don’t have to carry everything tonight.
Rest. God is still working.
Refresh Moment: What are you still carrying that you need to trust God with today?

Ministry asks a lot of us. We pour into people. We answer the texts. We solve the problems. We think about Sunday before Sunday gets here—and sometimes keep thinking about it long after it’s over.

But the people at home need more than what’s left of us. They don’t always need the pastor, the leader, the problem-solver, or the one who has everything handled.

Sometimes they just need you.
Your presence.
Your laughter.
Your attention.
A meal around the table.
A conversation that has nothing to do with church.

It can be hard to turn off the ministry part of our minds, especially when we love what God has called us to do. But being present with the people God has placed closest to us is part of our calling too.

This weekend, give yourself permission to put the phone down, leave a few things unfinished, and be fully present with the people you love.

REFRESH MOMENT:
What is one simple thing you can do this weekend to say to your family, “You matter to me”?

We’re often good at being there for everyone else. But ministry was never meant to be carried alone. God gives us people who can pray with us, laugh with us, remind us of truth, and simply understand.

Don’t get so busy pouring out that you forget to let others pour into you. (Need to find those people? Check out our Refresh Cohorts/Groups)

Refresh Moment:
Who are the people you can truly be yourself with? If it’s been a while since you’ve connected with them, make time for it this week.

25 years ago, our nation experienced a day we will never forget.
Today, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, honor the heroes who ran toward danger, and pray for the families, first responders, survivors, and veterans who still carry the impact of that day.
May we also remember the unity, compassion, and courage that followed—and choose to carry those same things into our homes, churches, and communities.
We remember. We honor. We pray.
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1

Sometimes we think our time with God needs to be deep, focused and full of the right words.

But some days all we have is, “Lord, I need You.” And that's enough. You don't have to organize your thoughts before you come to Him. You don't have to fix your emotions or figure out what you need.

Just come.He already knows what your heart is trying to say.

Refresh Moment:
Take five quiet minutes today. No agenda. No list. Just sit with Jesus and let your soul breathe.
