Choices Kennel

🐾 Today is World Rabies Day.

It's a good reminder that keeping your dog's vaccinations current is an important part of responsible pet ownership.

Staying up to date helps protect your dog, other pets, and the people around them. 💛

If you're not sure when your pup's vaccinations are due, it's a good time to check with your veterinarian.

💛 There's something special about a workplace where the work matters.

Choices is a not-for-profit business with a mission of creating meaningful employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

And every day, our employees help care for dogs who are part of someone's family.

It's a pretty great combination. 🐾

Thank you for supporting Choices and the people who make our work possible.

🐾 We have a very important question for Monday:

If your dog could tell you what they wanted to do today, what would they say?

🐶 “Play!”
🐶 “Treats!”
🐶 “Go outside!”
🐶 “Actually, I'd like to sleep.”

😂 We know there are some very different answers out there!

What would your dog choose?

💛 At Choices, our mission has two sides—and we care deeply about both.

🐾 Providing quality care for dogs while their families are away or at work.

💛 Providing meaningful employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

When you support Choices, you're supporting both.

Thank you for being part of our community. ❤️

👋 Thinking about trying a new boarding or daycare?

Come meet us!

We offer FREE walk-in tours during our office hours so you can see our facility, meet the people who care for the dogs, and ask questions before making a decision.

🐾 Some dogs love making friends.

Some dogs would prefer their own little space.

We understand both.

At Choices, our dogs have individual kennel spaces rather than being required to spend their day in group play.

They can still get outdoor time, exercise, toys and opportunities to explore—while having their own safe place to relax.

Because good dog care doesn't have to look exactly the same for every dog. ❤️

😴 Important business happening here...

Someone is taking a nap.

And we're not interrupting. 😂

Our kennel area closes for about one hour each day for dog rest time, while our office remains open.

Just like people, dogs need time to recharge.

Sometimes good daycare isn't just about how much fun a dog has...

It's also knowing when it's time to slow down. 💛

🏡 Coming home after a trip is great.

Knowing your pup was happy and well cared for while you were away?

Even better. 💛

At Choices, we provide overnight boarding for dogs while their families are away.

And if you're new to us, come take a look before booking!

🐾 FREE walk-in tours are available during our office hours.

🐾 Not every dog is a "group play" dog.

And that's okay!

At Choices, dogs can have their own private kennel space while still getting opportunities to enjoy our outdoor areas.

They can run.

They can chase toys.

They can explore.

They can burn off some energy.

And they don't have to spend their day in a group of unfamiliar dogs to do it. ❤️

Different dogs have different needs. We think that's worth respecting.
