What better way to celebrate the first day of fall than with a little teamwork, community connection, and some caramel apples?! Makynna from Jacksonville & Auburn, Holli from Sangamon Valley, Cheryl from AOH, and our team at Avenues of Springfield spent a super fun and productive marketing day around Springfield! We delivered homemade caramel apple “kits” to Case Managers at St. John’s, Memorial, Prairie Heart Institute, and Springfield Supportive Living. 🍏🤎
The day turned into so much more than deliveries! While at St. John’s, our team had the opportunity to meet with a new patient and her family who had some concerns about considering an Arcadia location. By simply showing up, listening, answering questions, and working together, our team was able to have a meaningful conversation—and the family is now considering two of our Region 1 communities for placement! ❤️
We also received some wonderful feedback from the lead Case Managers at both St. John’s and Memorial. They appreciated not only the thought and effort that went into our fall treats, but that we listened when they told us they wanted something different from the usual cookies, candy, and pizza. 😊
That’s what great marketing—and great teamwork—is all about: building relationships, listening, showing up, and making connections that matter. Such a productive day for Cheryl, Holli & Makynna and the entire team! 🍂👏

Earlier this month, residents created their own custom tote bags—and last week, they put them to good use at our FREE Farmers Market!

Residents filled their totes with fresh fruit, berry baskets, c***r, smoothies, pies, and cookies. 🍎

We had a great time playing Carnival Games this morning! Residents tested their aim, tried their luck, and celebrated the start of State Fair season.
