Big Rig Roundup presented by Larson Equipment Co and VL Classics is just around the corner! Here are some highlights from last year. Don't miss the roundup on Saturday, August 8th, at the Discovery Center. Seeing the trucks is completely free!

There's a heat advisory today! With an expected high of 92° and a feels-like of 106°, the heat will be no joke. You can play all day at the Discovery Center while staying cool! You can play rain or shine all year round with a Discovery Center membership, which is 25% off today because of the bad weather!
Huge thank you to Rachel Murdock for volunteering her evening to help paint our Science Sprouts Discovery School location (PS we are enrolling ages 2-5 for this fall if you need somewhere that’s more than just childcare)!
Rachel has been painting homes and businesses throughout the Springfield area for more than 12 years. Whether it’s a remodel, custom finish, residential, or commercial project, she does outstanding work and genuinely loves serving people.

"1 Year As An Ambassador" inside the Springfield Chamber of Commerce and The Discovery Center of Springfield. Ken is always ready to visit a company, civic group, board meeting, and more to talk about the many wonderful ways our community and we can work together. His extensive background via Mass Media, Sertoma, and operating a robust thrift operation benefiting children-centric charities has kept him engaged. Ken has been an Ambassador with a mission of giving back to where he lives, laughs, loves, and leads for well over 3 decades.
