Join The Arc Lane County and Cogitopia for a 6-week emergency preparedness workshop designed for youth and young adults ages 15+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities, along with their parents, caregivers, or supporters.

🌎 Together, we’ll learn how to prepare for emergencies such as wildfires, flooding, earthquakes, and extreme weather, while building a personalized emergency plan that works for you.

We would like to extend our sincerest thanks to the wonderful students from Bushnell University who chose The Arc Lane County for their Embrace the Community Day on 9/17/2026.

These amazing students generously donated their time and energy to help with a variety of projects around our building—from pulling weeds and washing vehicles to painting and helping spruce up our space.

Their hard work made a huge difference, and we are incredibly grateful for their willingness to give back to our community.

Happy Direct Support Professional Week!

This week, we’re celebrating the incredible Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) who make a difference in the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities every single day.

DSPs do so much more than provide support. They build relationships, encourage independence, create opportunities, advocate for choice, and help people live the lives they envision for themselves. From navigating everyday routines to pursuing dreams and goals, DSPs are there to listen, encourage and cheer people on.

At The Arc Lane County, we are grateful for the compassion, dedication, patience and heart that DSPs bring to their work. Thank you for everything you do to help create communities where everyone belongs.

THE ARC LANE COUTY'S CARNIVAL HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED!

We’re a little sad to share that, due to the rainy weather forecast, we had to make the difficult decision to reschedule The Arc Lane County Carnival that was scheduled for 9/12/2026. ☔🎪

But don’t worry, the fun is still happening! 🎉 Our new carnival date is Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

We hope you can still join us for an afternoon of games, food, family fun, and lots of smiles! 💛
