Marine Corps Recruiting Springfield, VA

BACK WHERE IT STARTED. 🏈

Military Appreciation Night at South County High School came with a homecoming for Sgt. Pennington!

Before the Marine Corps, he was a Stallion, walking these halls and playing on this field. This time, he came back in dress blues to join his alma mater for the coin toss and watch South County bring home the win.

A different uniform. Same field. Still a Stallion.

Thanks for having us, South County!

NO PULL-UP BAR, NO PROBLEM

No pull up bar at the D.C. United game last night, so the Marines called in a substitution.

Ammo cans.

Fans got a chance to test themselves with a little taste of the Marine Corps Combat Fitness Test between the action on the field.

Thanks for letting us join the match, D.C. United

And thank you for the assist Rockville Marines

New rank, same mission

Please help us in congratulating our newly promoted Gunnery Sergeant, GySgt Morrow!

Leading a recruiting station means developing Marine recruiters, building the team, and helping shape the next generation of Marines who will follow the legacy. Today, we get to recognize this Marine leading ours.

Congratulations on a well-earned promotion, Gunny!

On behalf of the Marines at RSS Springfield, we want say thank you to DMV IRON GYM for allowing the Marines to set up and connect with your community! 💪🇺🇸 We loved challenging individuals to push beyond their limits—not only during their workout in the gym, but at our table as well. The challenge doesn’t stop when the workout ends. Do you have what it takes?

The standard doesn’t get easier. You get better.

Come put in the work with us every Tuesday and Thursday at 5 p.m.

Think you’re ready for the challenge? Send us a message and find out.
