Congratulations to Marquette Bank , a 2026 IBA Community Service Award recipient!
To celebrate their 80th anniversary, Marquette Bank challenged its team to complete more than 80 community service projects, and they exceeded the goal:
- 🙌 163 employees participated
- ⏰ More than 1,900 volunteer hours contributed
- 🎓 $160,000 in scholarships provided to high school graduates
- ❤️ More than $900,000 directed to grants, donations, and community support
- 💡 More than 1,800 people reached through financial education events

What a week and what a turnout! The 2026 IBA Commercial Lending School last week was a full house, welcoming 29 bankers for five days of learning in Springfield and virtually. Congratulations to this year’s class on a great week of learning and professional growth!

A big thank you to facilitators Mark Tyrpin, Mercantile Bank, and Derrick Jackson, First Savings Bank, a division of First Merchants Bank, along with guest presenters Tony Nestler, Hickory Point Bank & Trust, and Terrence Williams, Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, for sharing their knowledge and real-world lending expertise.

Earlier this week, bank directors and leaders gathered in Lisle for the FDIC Directors’ College! Attendees gained timely insights on commercial real estate, payments fraud, economic conditions, and regulatory supervision.
