That’s LLCC-Jacksonville student Ella Veith on the screen in Times Square!! Ella was selected as a featured ambassador by the National Down Syndrome Society, and her image appeared in a video that kicked off the 2026 Buddy Walk in New York City.

Ella and her family arrived a few days before the walk, and she even logged into her LLCC Rise class from a local deli while in the Big Apple!

She showed off her Logger pride outside the Today Show studios at Rockefellar Center.

Congratulations Ella!! We're proud of all you represent and love seeing Logger pride shine all the way to Times Square.

We kicked off Hispanic Heritage Month today at LLCC with drinks, snacks, lunch and more!

Community is our middle name! We were proud to connect with fans at Thursday’s Women’s Professional Baseball League playoff game, sharing LLCC fans to help beat the heat, LLCC stickers and information about our programs, including opportunities through our Professional Development Institute. LLCC President Curt Oldfield and Kyla Kruse, chief communications officer, even met Maybelle, the mascot for the WPBL. Best wishes to all the teams during this inaugural playoff season!
