The way we support our community starts with how we support our staff. 🫢

For Phill, it’s things like HCRS’ tire reimbursement program; practical benefits that actually help. Taking care of our team isn’t a bonus here, it’s a core part of how we operate! 🌳

You deserve support, exactly as you are. πŸ’š

If you're using drugs or other substances, you might wonder whether you're "ready enough" or whether treatment is even an option. At HCRS, we'll meet you where you are without judgment and help you explore the support that fits your goals, whether that's recovery services, counseling, peer support, or something else entirely.

Need to call a landlord? A potential employer? A doctor's office? A crisis line? Most of us reach for our pocket without thinking. For someone without reliable access to a phone, those everyday calls can become major obstacles. 🚧

That's why several organizations in the Upper Valley now offer free public phones that anyone can use for outgoing calls. Because sometimes, 1 phone call is all it takes. πŸ’š

When our staff learn, our community benefits! πŸš“πŸ’š

Our Police Social Work (PSW) team recently attended the 5th Annual PSW Conference in New Haven, Connecticut, where professionals from across the country came together to share ideas, research, and practical strategies for supporting people experiencing mental health challenges, substance use concerns, homelessness, and other complex situations.

New knowledge and fresh perspectives help our team continue strengthening partnerships with local law enforcement and connecting community members to the care and resources they need, when they need them most.

We're proud to invest in ongoing learning that helps us better serve our neighbors every day! 😊

One of the best parts of working at HCRS? The connections you don’t expect. 🀝

Cove, Residential Coordinator, shares how getting involved in committees at HCRS opens the door to collaboration, fresh ideas, and relationships with people you might not otherwise cross paths with. Because it’s not just about the work you do, it’s about who you get to do it with. πŸ’š

πŸ¦‹ Sometimes the most meaningful moments are the ones that invite us to slow down.

A recent visit to Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory gave members of our Bellows Falls Developmental Services program the chance to explore and experience the simple joy of being surrounded by nature.

Afterward, a yummy picnic lunch and trip to Yankee Candle topped off a truly fantastic day! Here's to creating more memories that inspire wonder, belonging, and connection. ✨

Mental health care is about more than therapy and medication. 🌱

Through Same Day Access, children, youth, families, and adults can connect with a wide range of mental health and substance use services, including peer support, care navigation, housing, community resources, food support, and more. If you're not sure what kind of support you need, that's okay. We'll help you find the right place to start.

πŸ’š No appointment needed, walk in or call (802) 886–4500 during Same Day Access hours!

There's no right answer. Sometimes it's taking a walk, calling a friend, listening to music, reading a book, or simply taking a few deep breaths.

We'd love to hear yours in the comments! πŸ’š
