The official page of American International College, a private, coeducational, four-year comprehensive institution located in the geographic center of Springfield, Massachusetts. It was chartered by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts on September 18, 1885, with the purpose of educating immigrants who were coming to America through New York. They came to America to pursue a dream and AIC was founded to ensure their success. Today, our mission is to provide access to a holistic education in an inclusive environment that propels a diverse community of learners to personal growth and professional success. Liberal arts serves as the core of our academic offerings. The College comprises the School of Business, Arts & Sciences, the School of Education, and the School of Health Sciences.

Congratulations to AIC alumnus Deputy Chief Brian Beliveau on his recent promotion within the Springfield Police Department!
A longtime member of the department, Deputy Chief Beliveau has served the city for more than 33 years, rising through the ranks from police officer to Deputy Chief.
He holds a masterβs degree from American International College and currently oversees the Springfield Police Departmentβs Special Operations Division.
Congratulations, Deputy Chief Beliveau, and all of the officers recognized during the promotion ceremony π

For more than 141 years, AIC has empowered students to lead, serve, and make a difference in their communities.
Timothy Battle β25, an internal auditor at PeoplesBank, is one example of that legacy. A Magna Cum Laude alumnus, Tim completed three internships while at AIC and had multiple job offers upon graduation. He credits his professors and the many people who supported him along the way for helping him reach his goals.
As a student, Tim served as a peer mentor. Today, he continues that commitment to his community as a board member of the Martin Luther King Jr. Charter School of Excellence in Springfield.
His journey reflects a commitment to connection, leadership, and contribution. His personal motto: βResults come when excuses leave.β

American International College welcomes Jason Lawrence as chief information officer (CIO).
Jason brings more than 20 years of technology leadership experience across higher education, nonprofit, and private sector organizations. At AIC, he will lead the Collegeβs information technology operations and strategy, supporting the technology needs of students, faculty, and staff.
We look forward to the experience and perspective Jason brings to AIC.

President Nicolle Cestero joined fellow college and university leaders from across Pioneer Valley at the investiture of Dr. Joseph C. Hartman, who was officially installed as the seventh president of Western New England University on September 10.
AIC congratulates President Hartman and looks forward to welcoming him to the regionβs higher education community.
