We are back at it next week! We will be at the Champions Center Friday Aug 7 in the evening and then all day Saturday Aug 8 for The Dayton Horse Show! This is a free entry event at the fairgrounds.

This is our first event with this show so let’s show them what this community is all about! I will post our hours closer to the event date but let’s get excited!

If you or your business received an email for payment that looked like this, what are you doing? Look at the photo. You’re clicking the attachment to see who it’s from, right?

Looks normal, right? Anything about this photo stick out to you? Nope me neither, at first.

Luckily, in my corporate years, I’ve had some training and recognized some issues. First one is creating urgency. This email was flagged as urgent so naturally I opened it right away. Secondly, it’s a forwarded email disguised as not. Not very abnormal but still stood out. Lastly, the remittance summary was for over $80k 😂 cmon now.

Be cautious with attachments. You can open the email but the minute you click a link, an attachment or anything in it, you’re exposed.
