How can music educators create inclusive, joyful music-making experiences for students with disabilities, including autism?
Join us on November 3 for this five-hour workshop designed for in-service general music teachers. Music Therapist Jen Kass, MA, MT-BC, and Jessica Corwin, Medley Music Access & Inclusion Director, will share practical tools, teaching strategies, and classroom activities to support meaningful inclusion, accommodation, and social connection.
Topics include neurodivergence-affirming practices, anti-ableist language, current research on autism and learning differences, and the importance of listening to neurodivergent voices.
