I’ve been working with these buyers since June, and when you’re helping people move from out of state, you get real close real quick.

We’ve had the hard conversations, the stressful conversations, the “okay… here’s what I think we need to do” conversations, and plenty of negotiations in between. 😂

At this point, they’re basically stuck with me.

But seriously, somewhere along the way they became way more than just clients, and that’s one of my favorite parts of this business. I’m so thankful they trusted me to be their person here in Missouri and help them navigate all of it.

We finally found the one, got through the negotiating, and now we are officially ONE STEP CLOSER to getting them a home in 417. 🥹❤️

Now everybody cross your fingers, say a prayer, and let’s get this baby to closing. 🔑🏡

This is a bittersweet post to write because I truly love this restaurant. For the last two and a half years, I’ve poured my heart, time, and energy into building Madelina’s into what it is today.

After a lot of time, prayer, and consideration, I’ve decided that my family needs my full attention. I want to dedicate this next chapter to raising my children, which means it’s time for me to pass Madelina’s on to someone new.
While I’m stepping away, I’m incredibly proud of what I’m leaving behind. Madelina’s has an amazing team, great systems already in place, and has continued to run successfully—even while I’ve been on maternity leave.
