Ok I’m getting lonely here at Y- KNOT INC 1289 J E Woody Road outside of Springtown. Watching FREE school supplies looking for a new home.

If you need a bunch of free stuff so you can spend money on snacks, clothing, haircuts and other needs, come see us. We will extend our time for those getting out of church to 12: 30 pm today.

The only thing we ask is if you find something you need, like us on Facebook or follow as now that we are recovering from tornado, we are just begging to grow and do crazy charity fun stuff.

Here we go. I have six alleys of assorted school supplies, most are containers, small storage supply boxes, paper, pencils, crayons, glue and glue sticks.

I need to clean out that space to finish remodeling to convert building into a food bank.

We want to give for FREE to families that need these things. We will not give out full cases, large quantities to individuals. I have about six schools that desire the entire load but all leftovers will be provided to certain schools that need and can show a need that my board of directors will select.

Sunday morning I will open the garage door no earlier than 8:30 am and will close at 11 am before it’s too hot. At that time I will post pictures. First come, first selection. We are privately owned, no government funding so no proof of income, everyone welcome and save a few dollars to buy other items.

We will also be taking some bulky items and overstock on Saturday to these two Food Banks.

Christway Church on 199 from 11 am to 1pm
Zion Hill Church on Zion Hill Rd 2pm to 4pm

Both of these are government funded and provide free food for those in communities.

We are here to help, if you need it we can help.

Thank you

My charity is in need of dirt, rock and gravel that is being hauled out of area with all the construction going on.

We are not looking for perfect, we are not desiring trash, but if you have stuff in between, we have a place that could use it.

We are also in need of around 4,000 railroad ties and 200 telephone poles to develop our 1800’s charity town.

Any suggestions of donors, companies who would have to pay or haul too far that would gladly donate would be appreciated. Lots of space to dump and turn around on property.

We offer a donation letter of the value of your services and / product if you desire.

Call us, tell us what you have or expect to have, come inspect for access and se if we can help each other.

Hello everyone… Y-KNOT INC here just wanting to thank everyone since this time last week with all the donations. Our average pickup has been two vehicle loads per pickup with one being 7 loads in a row and one truck load all from one multi family garage sale.

We were growing till tornado destruction hit us hard. You can see us now and our buildings but still heavy damage we are working to get resolved.

We are not asking for money or even anyone out sweating with our group of oldies to cut trees or rebuild garages and buildings. What we are planning is a thank you to this community.

We were graciously donated over 7 pallets of back to school supplies that are very assorted. We want to share them with everyone in need to save you money.

The question that I need help with I have a full garage loaded that I need clean to repair the damaged walls and ceiling to get the food bank ready. I want to open no longer than 3 hours and pull stuff out, sort it and give it away for free to those who would like some. Please share what time Saturday should I open and close? No power, no lights and certainly no AC.

The only rules will be, supplies for your children/ grandkids and no large quantities of any items.

All are free, no cost but picking up for more than normal family you must provide proof you have 20 kids… lol

If you are an individual teacher, we will try to help after we are done with giveaway.

Good evening everyone, we have been very quiet as we have been fully working on our property from tornado damage. Much closer to almost back to where we were before tornado.

We want to thank you for those businesses and individuals who have helped us with water, assistance and donations of items.

Windows and doors ripped out are gone and hopefully by weekend will be closed off permanently so the siding can be replaced.

We are almost 100% ready to take garage sale leftovers, garage cleanouts and all your good, bad and ugly cloth items

If it’s not sellable, we send it off to recycle, please don’t toss stained sheets, curtains, single or not useable shoes, purses. It all goes to recycle.

Good useable items, we sell them, offer to other charities or donate to people in need.

All cash, Venmo or supplies donations are used for purposes you designate and nothing else without your permission.

We are also a safe space to meet and transfer person to person donations or drop off point so ID of legal transfer can be confirmed.

We ask that if people in need and are legitimate, it can be done respectfully on both sides without fear of fraud.

We are about to get our food bank open but not a government funded so you will have to be verified to get served. Our donors want to help the immediate needy. We have and work with food banks and can direct or assist to find food so it’s available. Our donors directions determine requirements but will be fair and supportive.

Best part is we will have lots of fun for donors, volunteers and even those that need help soon. Did I say we have 6 pallets of school supplies that we will offer soon!!!

Again thanks for your continued support.

Awesome hump day to everyone! So much happening lately. Getting cleaned up from direct tornado impact and now back to accepting donations.

Special thank you for the three loads of wood chips from Deadwood Tree service. Signed up through Chip Drop and was super stuff.

If anyone has gravel, crushed concrete, decent dirt and need a place to drop it, we can certainly use if. All of our funds are going to repairs but we can offer donation to a legal 501(c)(3) charity for material and delivery. Call us at (817) 980-8628 and leave a message. We can take a lot of loads, tell us what you have and not looking for perfect stuff but will take that also.

As soon as everything tossed around in storm is reset, we will have garage sales inside to raise funds for damage and water well repair. Thank you for all your assistance.

Wow what a wild time we have been having lately in our community and I hope storms coming don’t make it worse.

I wanted to thank a few people and businesses.

Chill zone, I have yet to meet you but your donations and service can’t be overlooked. Thank you.

Everyone still up at First United Methodist Church and the Emergency Assistance groups for the disaster are special people.

The families who are bringing us garage sale items and unwanted items they are allowing us to pick up, it shows community sharing and is the life blood of charities no matter how big or small.

Just remember that not every charity is legal or approved. Not everyone who seeks help or donations get to where they are intended. Please if you think they are not honest or you have been a victim of fraud, contact local law enforcement or county DA for direction instead of discouraging people of helping others by posting battles on social media. If you help others by gathering funds, keep your records for every penny you raise in case you are not appreciated. We can be an independent third party and we never take a side or a fee. We just want to help and protect both parties.

You can always verify any charity with IRS or Secretary of State / Comptroller’s Office if you have a question.

We offer donation letters and full review of our legal documents to any donor. If you give us $10.00 and want us to verify the need before giving the item to a specific person, we will either give proof the funds were distributed or return them to you. Same thing, we have donors that are helping with building materials, they get a copy of the tax exempt purchase receipt and donation receipt or a personal thank you.

We are small, growing and when this setback is resolved will hopefully earn your trust and respect and you will visit and volunteer and have fun serving our community.

Thank you,
Y-KNOT INC

Here is a challenge for you!
I have a bunch of romaine lettuce, assorted boxes of Girl Scout Cookies, bulk fresh carrots, a few honey dew melons and fresh garlic. Do you hero’s out there want a gift?

Says storms are coming around 4 pm today stop by and grab some for free as my charity and me personally want to bless you with free stuff.

I have already taken stuff to food banks and emergency disaster places.

I’m sitting her keeping it loaded till gone

1289 J E Woody road Springtown

Last time it was gone I’m less than an hour. No holds but I can direct you to where you can get food tomorrow if I’m out

05/05/2026

You know I was just thinking again… usually not a good moment to sit and think… lol

But thank you to all the site administrators who were having to deal with all these wild posts and messages during all this mess and most likely dealing with things in your properties or families. You kept it all as a lifeline for us when no power and heavy damages. So tats off to each and every one of you.

As the storm impact day moves farther and farther away, services stop and attention fades… those impacted still have lots to do. It can be years before things are normal and for some, they may never get over it. The best thing is that we survived, lots of friends, neighbors, perfect strangers businesses all rallied to help.

As a victim here is what I experienced:

Looters picking up tools I sat down wile in brake or a quick rest in the shade

Constant solicitors like vultures

People stopping to just take internet pictures

Promises to bring help then never showing up (my fault for expecting their promise, but understand many reasons that could change plans for them)

Failure of local utility companies to communicate, failure of our local, county, state officials to respond and if nothing else be honest and consistent in what they publish or post.

Best were:

Neighbors helping each other.
Unknown strangers dropping off snacks, drinks, smiles and prayers.

Stops to assist, free food but more important, a place to eat a meal, hear a normal voice with laughter and smiles and a moment to relax and feel normal away from the mountain of destruction.

The all night businesses that allowed restrooms and peace and many free coffee or drinks immediately afterwards.

It’s not who you are, what you did or how you served during this time. You are hero’s in many of our eyes.

Those scammers / people who snatched things from yards, I’m sure you think you needed it more than me. I will pray for you.

Business owners flooding with cards or flyers I’m sure you had intentions, all the ones I have talked with that need services contacted companies who did not solicit but offered help first and just identified by a business card.

I as a person hit hard but as a charity provider feel blessed by seeing our community in action for each other. No matter where you came from, rich, poor or in middle, how long you have been in the area, like it or not… you have shown you are our community family.

What I hope is that you find churches, organizations or local charities to keep giving blessings and receiving the returns that should be rewarded with.

Thank you for being our hero.
