Thanksgiving is a time for families and communities to come together and celebrate gratitude.

This year, the Matthews family, who have proudly served the St. Louis area through their beloved BBQ restaurant, Ms. Piggies Smokehouse, since 1999, are marking a special milestone: retirement.

Kenneth and Anita Matthews have poured their heart and soul into Ms. Piggies Smokehouse, building a cherished local institution and gathering place for friends, families, and organizations alike.

From the very first hickory-smoked brisket to the countless holiday feasts served over the years, it has been our honor to exceed expectations and delight BBQ lovers across the city.

As we prepare for this new chapter, we want our community to know how much this journey has meant to us.

Although the exact retirement date isn't set, we remain dedicated to maintaining the high standards of quality and service that have defined Ms. Piggies Smokehouse for over two decades.

Whether you're a lifelong fan wearing your Ms. Piggies Smokehouse discount button or a first-time visitor ordering online, this weekend is the perfect time to stop by and savor the hickory-smoked meats that have become a true St. Louis legacy.

Join us in celebrating community, flavor, and the spirit of service that has guided us since the beginning.

As proud believers in the Show-Me State, we've proven that with faith and a strong work ethic, anything is possible.
