Thank you to all the families that adopted 36 animals from our shelter during the month of July. That does not include the 8 that were located as strays and reunited with their families, or the 7 that were transferred to other organizations and found their families there.

🐾 June Adoption Update 🐾

Because of our amazing community, 56 animals found loving homes in June!

Every adoption means one more pet gets a second chance and one more kennel opens up for an animal in need. We couldn't do this work without our incredible adopters, dedicated volunteers and supporters who make our mission possible.

To the 56 families who chose adoption this month-- thank you for changing a life. We hope your new furry family members are settling in and bringing you endless love, laughter and tail wags.

Here's to even more happy ending in the months ahead. If you've been thinking about adding a pet to your family, stop by and meet your new best friend!

The Liberty Animal Shelter is in need of washcloths to use for shelter cleaning. Do you have a couple you could spare? Come by during regular business hours to drop off donations, we are staffed seven days a week.

The Liberty Animal Shelter receives several calls a week about animals left in hot vehicles. We would like to remind you about ordinance section 4-5: "It shall be unlawful to confine any animal in a motor vehicle or extension of said motor vehicle (i.e. attached trailer, etc.), under weather or other conditions that endanger its life."

Please leave your animals at home when their company is not necessary. If you must bring them along, please provide them a climate controlled place to stay while they wait for your return.
