Dance For Your Rights

Sunday Sessions is back at Forest Park on 8/30! We'll be benefitting the Missouri Coalition for the Environment (MCE)-an independent, citizens' environmental organization for clean water, clean air, clean energy and a healthy environment.

MCE has been on the frontlines working to ensure that the massive proposed data centers in MO must adhere to environmental regulations that protect Missourians and our precious natural resources.

We’ve also got a bunch of new vendors joining us this Sunday, so be sure to take a lap around the market and show them some love while you’re here.

It’s looking like it’s going to be a hot one, so don’t forget your water and take care of yourselves. We’ll have plenty of music, local art, vendors, and good people all afternoon.

We are currently looking for additional vendors for our upcoming Sunday Sessions ::) If you’re interested, please dm our Dance for Your Rights account with photos of your creations and dimensions of your booth.

Vending fees are on a sliding scale. We generally ask for $50 or 20% of your total proceeds from the event. This money goes towards the total donation that we raise for the nonprofits we benefit each month.

PS. We never ask for the vending fees upfront. If anyone messages you asking for you to send them $$ they are not in association with our organization.

After a brief hiatus, DFYR is back at Forest Park Pavilion #7! We’ve missed dancing with you all! Come get down for a good cause!

On 7/26 we will be supporting The GRE Foundation. An organization that works to empower families, stabilize neighborhoods, and remove barriers to economic and housing security through sustainable housing development, financial education and community-led revitalization efforts

The funds we raise will specifically go to one of GRE’s revitalization projects, the Granville Place Community Garden. They are working towards transforming an underutilized lot into a vibrant community asset that supports environmental education, food production, neighborhood beautification and ecological restoration.

Mission: St. Louis works to remove barriers to employment and education, creating opportunities for social and economic mobility throughout our community. Through workforce development, education, and crime reduction programs, they’re helping people build pathways toward self-sufficiency and long-term success.
