For 5th Grade Teacher Destiny Baltimore, it’s the sense of community, the emphasis on character and kindness, and the celebration of different cultures and perspectives.
She also loves 5th grade for the unique role it plays in a student’s journey — helping them grow, gain confidence and prepare for the transition to middle school.

WOW! 13 years ago! Oh how things have changed but the things that truly matter have stayed the same at Marquette Catholic High School. I wonder what all these students are up to now? I love seeing my all-time favorite teacher, Mrs. Ruth Klaus, in this film. We lost Ruth to cancer in 2018 but she made an incredible impact on so many of us Explorers...as did all the staff, teachers and coaches.

Check out some of our recent photography from a unique project with Garcia Properties! If you have not been to Lafayette Square, I highly recommend a sunset stroll through the park and neighborhood. Incredible architecture and it feels like an east coast movie location.

The bravery of Todd Beamer and Flight 93 told through the words of Lisa Jefferson.
I still remember that morning like it was yesterday. Standing next to my mom staring at the news in disbelief right before heading to work on my one year anniversary of my first real job as an AV Coordinator at the Millennium Hotel. My supervisor and mentor, David Conley, told me the day before to come in late since it was my anniversary day. After the planes hit the towers, he called me and said I needed to get in as soon as possible since all the events at the hotel were being cancelled. We needed to set up as many TVs as we had to get the news on for all the guests and staff. There was an amazing view of the St. Louis Arch from the lower level of the hotel where I was placing a TV and I remember looking up and thinking, will planes be hitting every city in America today?
