Hard work pays off, Never give up! I race Dirt Late Models for Mike Swartz out of Olympia, KY. Originally from Columbus, IN.

I moved here in April 2010 to continue my racing career that started at the age of 10 in go-karts.

The saying usually goes, “two heads are better than one” so we’re testing what three heads can come up with tonight at Mudlick Valley Raceway 🤔

Our next event will be Friday June 12 at Richmond Raceway KY for their portion of Kentucky speedweek! Then and we will head to Mudlick Valley Raceway on Saturday the following night. We would love to run the whole Speed weeks but it's just not possible without having sufficient help. That's as to why we didn't go anywhere this weekend either. Thank you to all our fans for the continued support. And a special thanks to all our sponsors for everything they do! If your looking to go racing with a race team hit us up, looking for someone that would be willing to stop by the shop some through out the week and go racing on the weekends.

Parked it in the new victory lane last night @ 191 Speedway for Steve Kincaid’s memorial race with the American Late Model Iron-Man Series!! Words cannot express how much this win meant to Derek and the crew. Thank you to the track for putting on the event, and to every helping hand we had throughout the night. First feature win of 2026 is in the books! 🏁

We will be headed to the Steve Kincaid memorial race today at 191 Speedway! We are grateful to the track for putting on this event in Steve’s memory. Steve was a huge part of the team and this season truly isn’t the same without him. He wasn’t just a ‘crew member’. Steve was a calm voice when the anticipation built, a sounding board for when things didn’t seem to be going right, a playful papaw Steve to Jessie-girl, an inventor when you needed to make something work with what you have, and a friend to everyone he met.
He was Derek’s right hand man for many years. In that time they built a close bond. One where they didn’t always have to communicate to know what the other was thinking or was going to do next.
Although we wish Steve could be in the pits with us, we know he’ll be enjoying the event from the best seat

See ya’ll at the track!!

As much as we hate not running anywhere this weekend, we have been dealing with a stomach bug going through the house. This weekend will be taking off to recover. Looking forward to being back out soon!! Stay tuned to find out where we will be headed next 🏎️

It was a tough choice between Richmond Raceway KY, 191 Speedway, and Mudlick Valley Raceway so ultimately we ended up putting all three names into a hat and letting Jessie draw it! After two pulls the choice became clear that we are headed to 191 Speedway today 🏁

As most of the racing community knows we lost our dear friend and crew member Steve Kincaid. He was such a big part of our racing. If you have ever been part of a dirt late model progam then you know how much hard work and dedication it takes to keep them going, let alone being competitive week in and out. Derek is trying hard to get things prepared and where they need to be. It won't be long and he will have everything ready to go! So we won’t be racing this weekend, he is hoping to have everything ready for Richmond Raceways $6,060 to win season opener.
