Looks like all our hard work paid off! Local 110 volunteers canvassed in Festus on Saturday, July 25th and Wednesday July 29th to spread the word on why Amendments 4 and 5 are wrong for Missouri.

37 Year member and Retiree Kenneth Watts passed away on July 30th. He spent the majority of his career with Vee Jay Cement Co. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. May he Rest in Peace.

On Thursday, July 16, members of Laborers' Local 110's Volunteer Organizing Committee (VOC) partnered with the St. Louis Area Foodbank to help distribute groceries through the Food on the Move program at Morse Mill Baptist Church in Jefferson County.
Giving back to our communities is at the heart of what Local 110 is all about. Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time to help families in need.

On July 18th, Local 110’s Volunteer Organizing Committee teamed up with MoWIT and Alberici to help build sidewalks and the base for a pergola at a community garden project in south city. This workday was a great way for us to use our construction skills to make a long-lasting positive impact on the community.
