What an unforgettable evening! The sold-out Urban League & Urban League Guild of Metropolitan St. Louis Salute to Women in Leadership Gala 2026 brought our community together at the Marriott St. Louis Grand to celebrate extraordinary women whose leadership, service and accomplishments continue to inspire us all.

We proudly recognized our Lifetime Achievement Honorees: Jayne Kennedy, Dr. Aysha Mubarak and Pam Grier.

This year’s Salute Honorees were Rhonda Spears Bell, Kelly Po***ck, Constance Taylor, LaTonya Annoor, Juanita Logan, Stephanie Vojicic, Christie Kuhns, Robin Carey Boyd, Sheila Forrest, Beth-Anne Yakubu and Lavette Jamison-Hamilton.

The celebration also featured unforgettable entertainment from Ruben Studdard and 3 Central, along with our distinguished special guest, civil rights icon Xernona Clayton.

Congratulations to all our honorees, and thank you to everyone who joined the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis and the Urban League Guild for this remarkable celebration of women, leadership and legacy!

Our Clean Up, Build Up initiative with the Regional Business Council is in full effect, and the heart behind it is undeniable.

Neighbors, partners, and volunteers showed up with love, sweat, and commitment to make sure East St. Louis remains clean, safe, and truly habitable for every family. We thank you!

We’re not just cleaning up — we’re building up the future of East St. Louis, one block at a time.
