When a child is diagnosed with cancer, the entire family begins a journey they never expected. Through every appointment, treatment, sleepless night, and milestone, moms are often the steady presence holding it all together.

They become caregivers, advocates, nurses, organizers, comforters, and fierce protectors. They celebrate the victories, shoulder the worries, and provide strength even when they're running on empty.

Each year, we host a special event to honor our warrior moms, and it's coming up next Saturday! While are moms are enjoying crafts, massage, and time together, we're also hosting a back to school bash for our kiddos! We have 45 moms and over 100 kids signed up - a record turnout!

Last year, we watched Kennedy soar through the air, a beautiful reminder of the incredible strength of a kid fighting cancer. Wearing a mask for protection and facing the challenges of treatment, she flew with courage, joy, and not a care in the world.

One year later, she continues to inspire us. Further along in her journey, Kennedy shows us every day what resilience, determination, and bravery look like. Her strength shines brighter than ever, and she reminds us that a warrior's spirit cannot be broken.

Kennedy, we are so proud of you. We love you, we're cheering for you every step of the way, and we can't wait to see all the amazing things you continue to accomplish.

𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞'𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭 - Kennedy is just one of the kids who we serve in the St Louis area. We currently have over 300 families on our active list, all fighting battles big and small. Some are early in their journey, some have long since rang the bell and are dealing with long term effects, both physical and emotional. And some keep their angel warriors in their hearts as they continue to support their friends in the fight and navigate the unimaginable in a world that should never have been.

And every single one inspires us to keep fighting right along side them.

Our families had a blast climbing, jumping, and playing while making wonderful memories together. Every child left with a brand-new backpack and some fun board games to enjoy at home, and we wrapped up the afternoon with a sweet treat from the ice cream truck! 🍨

Last Saturday, our families beat the heat and came together for a special showing of the new live-action Moana! Everyone enjoyed a fun afternoon filled with a great movie, tasty treats, and time spent with one another.

And can we take a moment to appreciate our awesome shirts? 💙 Because we all know that even in the darkest times of our lives, the ocean can choose us... to be family.

We're so grateful for moments like these that remind us of the strength, joy, and connection we find in our community. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the day so special!
