You asked what happens after the Circular Tech Bootcamp.

And we answered.

JustUsedTech held a live session with our Circular Tech Bootcamp alumni, to discuss the different pathways available to them after completing the programme.

From internships and volunteering to supporting the next cohort, building circular economy ventures, and becoming JUT ambassadors, our alumni are being encouraged to choose a clear pathway that aligns with their skills, interests and goals.

But it doesn’t stop at choosing a pathway.

During the session, our alumni also shared proposals and ideas, with encouragement from management to keep developing their prototypes and turning what they learned into practical solutions.

And we are already seeing collaboration happen. Two of our alumni have teamed up and started working together on devices, putting their circular tech skills into practice beyond the classroom.

This is what happens when learning meets opportunity, collaboration and action.

Circular Tech Bootcamp Cohort 2 is happening this October.

On October 7, 2026, Project 9–12 comes to life in Lagos, bringing together 10 participating schools for a day of sports, technology, learning and opportunity.

In line with SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure and SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, we are creating pathways for young people to engage with technology while promoting a more responsible approach to the resources we already have.

Through the project:
- Just Used Tech will provide refurbished devices to participating schools, extending the useful life of technology and supporting digital inclusion.

- Passback will provide refurbished sports gear, giving quality sporting equipment a second life while reducing unnecessary waste.

- Girls will participate in volleyball, while boys will participate in football using sport as a platform for engagement, teamwork and youth development.

This is what happens when innovation meets responsible consumption: resources are reused, opportunities are created, and young people are empowered.

A cleaner world starts with what we do with what we no longer need.

This World Cleanup Day, let’s make responsible choices with our old tech—reuse, refurbish, recycle, and keep e-waste out of our landfills.

Together, we can give technology a second life and build a cleaner, more sustainable future.
