Cultivating our Inner Voices....

Alongside the horses, I hear many people who step into the pasture ask the question: But how do I know what my inner voice is telling me? How do I know what my intuition is saying?

Last week, I had the pleasure of guiding someone through somatic practices into a state of testing what we know to be true, and exploring what it feels like when something is misaligned. It is a practice that I personally have cultivated over many decades- and most recently, through a process taught by my
Qigong instructor, Stephanie Nosco.

The beautiful thing is that when all else is stripped away and it is just you and the horses standing in a field, there aren’t other voices, phones, or
external demands pulling us from the space of interconnectedness.

The horses are a hugely grounding force. They reside entirely in the present moment, with no need for being pulled this way or that. Horses trust their intuition and instinct implicitly. Because of that, their heart has a direct line to the brain; residing in an emotional, instinctual, and intuitive resonance is the default
state of all equine beings.

There is much we can learn from them. While we can’t shed every piece of external validation or human distraction, we can begin to build a deeper, more intimate relationship with our intuitive voice.

I’ve been thinking more about hosting the Wild Wisdom Collective once a
month to explore this very idea, and I would love to know if this is
something that interests you.

Call it developing resonate language.
Call it learning your intuitive voice.
Call it returning to our ancient wisdom.

Wild Wisdom 1:1 sessions

I have long believed that horses are far more than a mirror to the human soul. While they can reflect certain things back to us, I find that a more accurate way to describe the experience is prismatic. Much like a prism, a horse is multi-faceted. When we approach the herd, what we carry is not merely bouncing back; it is amplified, shifted, and revealed through their presence.

Liminal Acres is the home to Ritual Equus and the mustangs. When you enter the pasture it becomes a space to hold the exploration of ...

a question.
an intention.
a personal focus.

This is a space of remembrance, observation, and deep inner resonance.

In these sessions, we move away from the intellectual need to know and toward a space of embodied, authentic presence and Being. Horses are the ultimate truth tellers. They exist entirely in the present moment, in a space without ego and absolute non-judgment. They do not approach us with an agenda; they simply witness. By entering their field, we are guided into a state of awareness that allows us to connect with our own centers of perception and intuitive nature in a deeper, more grounded way.

A Journey of Co-Creation and Deepening

The horses act as our guides and partners, but only so far as we are willing to meet them in reciprocity and harmony. This is a collaborative journey of deepening where we learn to settle into the stillness of the land and the quiet wisdom of the herd.

Each session is about authenticity, not performance. As we connect with the herd, we learn to trust the steady, honest feedback of these ancient beings and the wisdom of the more than human world.

What We Explore:

The Subtle Energetics: We observe the flow of energy between you, the herd, and the land itself, noticing the invisible threads that connect all living things.

Somatic Presence: We practice dropping out of the narrative of the mind and into the wisdom of the body, reconnecting to our intuitive knowing and heart-led sense of self.

The Power of Witness: We learn the art of orientation and observation within the equine field, discovering the profound shift that happens when we are witnessed without being judged.

The Truth of the Moment: We honor the horses as co-facilitators who help us strip away the layers of the ego, revealing the clarity and brilliance that has been there all along.

There is much to learn when we allow ourselves to be still and oriented within the presence of the horse. I invite you to step into this space and begin the slow, sacred process of remembering your own capacity for harmony and alignment. Once a session is booked you will receive an intake form for you to share what your intention might be, or what you are moving through that you might want to explore. There is no right or wrong way to approach these private experiences. Many people arrive with the desire to receive whatever the horses are open to share and leave with a sense of support and guidance they didn't realize they were seeking. The most important is piece in my opinion, is to come open and curious. The horses and I work together to provide gentle guidance and a supportive space to explore anything that comes up in our time together.

Sessions all take place on the ground.

No previous horse experience is necessary.

Wild Wisdom Collective | September 19th | Autumn Equinox

The Wild Wisdom Collective: Grounded in the Herd

In honor of the Autumn equinox this session will focus on being in relation with change and moving through this liminal time in co-creation with the season. We will spend time grounding and arriving at the gates of Autumn and explore the land of the herd connecting with items from nature that speak to us, in order to create an earth mandala / pasture collage. These mandalas help us to focus on the act of gathering, creating and letting go as a peaceful embodied practice. The final creations are an offering of gratitude to the horses and all of nature this time of year.

The Collective are immersive, group sessions designed to be a space where we each can connect with the mustangs and experience the natural world together. This space is one of witnessing and being with the horses and natural world. This container holds us as we drop out of our minds and into our hearts and bodies, guiding us in order to show up more fully in the moment.

This group space is an invitation to slow down in order to align with the cycles of each seasons - within nature and our own lives. Together, we will explore creative and quiet practices, ranging from sound baths and meditation to heart centered resonate language through writing, and nature-based reflective practices. Every session leaves room for open conversation, shared insights, and quiet time alongside the pasture and more than human world. Here, the herd anchors the environment, creating a spacious backdrop for individual reflection and community connection.

Liminal Acres

Liminal Acres is the home of Ritual Equus, and to the four mustang guardians of the pasture- Phantom, Story, Tana & Frida. The land is located in Labadie, MO about 40 minutes west of Saint Louis near the Shaw Nature Reserve. Although the mustangs live now on roughly 6 acres, instead of the thousands they once roamed, they remind me constantly that although fences are physical, there are no edges or boundaries in the realm of energy and Spirit. Their world is one of interconnection, and they welcome all those curious about what they have to share.

Liminal Acres is a space dedicated to the restorative power of the horse and the natural world, where we move beyond the view of horses as tools to recognize them as sentient partners and quiet guides.

This living threshold brings together the wisdom of the land and the herd to support a co-creational journey of presence, reverence, and mutual respect.

Whether you are a horse owner or simply drawn to their steady energy, our sessions offer a path for deep listening rooted in heart-centered awareness, and the belief that every individual carries an innate capacity for balance.

Through equine-guided sessions, Reiki, meditative practices or practical support for guardians, we nurture a shared journey of connection. Within this sacred ecology, we provide a protected space to drop out of the noise of the mind and honor the unique spirit of the horse and the rhythms of the earth.
