Damned Good People was built around a simple idea: To be heard, people need to be seen.

People need a place to belong without having to pretend to believe something they don’t.

And that’s why we’re building DGP chapters — real spaces where people can connect, think freely, have meaningful conversations, and find community.

Our first chapter in St. Louis is already thriving. And we’re just getting started.

But to keep building, we need YOU.

A lot of us were raised to believe that morality comes from religion. That faith is what teaches people right from wrong, how to treat others, and what it means to be a good person.

But what happens when someone no longer believes?

Does compassion disappear with faith? Does kindness need a religious reason behind it? Or can empathy, reason, shared experience, and simply caring about other people be enough?

You may already have a strong opinion. You may still be figuring it out.

Either way, it’s worth talking about.

Join us for Family Game Night at Damned Good People (DGP) every Sunday from 3–6 PM.

We’ll have games, snacks, conversation, and plenty of room at the table.

Dave Mason sang, "There ain't no good guys. There ain't no bad guys. There's only you and me and we just disagree".

Somewhere along the way, disagreement started feeling a lot more personal.

Different politics. Different beliefs. Different life experiences. Sometimes it feels like we’re expected to pick a side, stay there, and assume the worst about anyone who sees things differently.

But it doesn’t have to be that way.

At Damned Good People (DGP), you don’t have to agree with everyone in the room. In fact, sometimes the best conversations happen when you don’t.

The important part is being willing to listen, ask questions, explain where you’re coming from, and give someone else the same chance.

You might change your mind. You might not.

Either way, you can still leave the conversation with a little more understanding than you had when it started.
