Cam Schlittler owns the …

Through his first 6 career starts against Boston, including the playoffs:

0.47 ERA
11.41 K/9

Since ERA became official in both leagues in 1913, no other MLB pitcher has ever recorded a sub-0.50 ERA AND 11.00+ K/9 over his first 6 starts against a single opponent.

He is also the only pitcher in MLB history with an ERA below 0.90 and 10+ K/9 against a single franchise with at least 6 starts.

The next closest? Blake Snell with a 0.96 ERA against the White Sox.

BREAKING: The Premier League has confirmed that Manchester City has been found GUILTY of all charges stemming from the breaches of financial rules through nine seasons.

A statement provided by the Independent Commission finds that between the 2009/2010 and 2017/2018 seasons:

“Manchester City arranged ‘sham’ contracts (which misrepresented the true agreement between the parties) with a number of its commercial partners, as well as relying on ‘sham’ agreements with others, to artificially inflate the club’s revenues and reduce its costs.”

“The club filed misstated accounts and concealed the true state of its finances from its auditors and football regulators.”

“Manchester City was significantly in breach of both the Premier League’s and UEFA’s spending limits.”

“During the Premier League’s investigation, Manchester City committed multiple breaches of its duties of co-operation and utmost good faith towards the League (three of the four alleged breaches were upheld).”

“The Independent Commission found that Manchester City arranged ‘sham’ commercial deals with a number of its sponsors during the period, which were part of a disguised funding scheme, whereby those companies were only required to pay a portion of the relevant sponsorship fees. The remainder was funded by Abu Dhabi United Group Investment & Development Ltd (ADUG), which owned the club. As part of the scheme, further ‘sham’ arrangements, funded by ADUG, were entered into to enable the club to record lower operating expenses than it actually incurred, as well as a ‘sham’ circular arrangement with Fordham, an entity that purchased the club’s players’ image rights, that was funded by ADUG.”

With the charges being proven, the issue of sanctions will be addressed in a separate hearing, with punishments ranging from massive fines to the steepest points deduction and relegation penalties ever.

South Carolina star DE Dylan Stewart has been suspended indefinitely, per head coach Shane Beamer.

Stewart had multiple off-field antics during a 49-18 loss to Alabama. Stewart threw a punch at Alabama TE Josh Ford.

Early in the game, Beamer was seen shouting at Stewart for loafing to the sideline after committing a penalty.

Was this a potential game winning interception or is it defensive pass interference? 🤔

It was ruled DPI and allowed the to take the lead late in the fourth quarter, which would ultimately serve as the game-winning touchdown.

Week 3 of the NFL season has been absolute chaos‼️

We’re only three weeks into the year and it already feels like every Sunday is changing the entire outlook of the league. The Jets couldn’t quite slip out with the win in Detroit. The Steelers survived a 30-27 battle with the Bengals, the Browns pulled out a close one against Carolina, Buffalo stayed unbeaten with another big win, and Washington handed Seattle its first loss of the season. Jacksonville also made a statement against New England, while Kansas City handled business in Miami. There’s already been everything from comeback wins and upsets to teams suddenly looking completely different from what we expected coming into the year.

And somehow the day still isn’t finished. The late window brings even more, including Ravens-Cowboys from Brazil before Rams-Broncos closes out Sunday Night Football. Three weeks in and we’re already starting to figure out which teams might actually be for real, which slow starts are becoming serious, and which early-season narratives are about to completely fall apart. The NFL really does not give you a normal Sunday… ‼️
