TamBASS Charters, LLC is a private fishing charter and guide service business run by the 3 Tambascio brothers. We run a 23' Sea Craft Center Console for charter as well as custom personable guide service with all gear included to show you how to catch more fish and become familiar with western Long Island Sound. We run from the end of April through the middle of November targeting Striped Bass, Bluefish, Scup, Seabass, Fluke and Blackfish. Got into some nice bass today with long time client Tom and his crew! There is a lot of small bait around western sound right now especially in the shallows 10-30’ line work the rips and structure areas where you see the small bait for big bass this time of year.

Couldn’t have asked for a better bite fishing with one of my best friends Ty Cabrera up from Mexico on the custom hair lures that Salty made for us when we were kids. Miss doing this stuff with you every day Ty.. seems like just yesterday we were riding our bikes with full 5 gallon gas cans to fill the 13’ Whaler running it to fish just as hard as we both do today!

The bass bite continues to be red hot! We have been focusing on trolling ledges from 20-60 of water and looking for the right pile of fish to jig.
Fluke fishing is starting OK with mainly shorts but the sand eels are here so hoping any day now the fluke bite really heats up! Bimini Custom Rods PENN Fishing
