Parra Design & Build

Basement refresh. We replaced the drop ceiling with drywall, replaced the carpet with luxury vinyl planks, added custom, illuminated cabinetry, new recessed lighting and painted the entire space. Simple upgrades make a BIG impact and can make a “basement” living space feel more like a “lower living level”.

Wrapping up the first of two fun Penn State jobs this morning 💙🤍

We loved how this project turned out! This kitchen went from dated and builder grade to bright, welcoming, and designed with this family’s everyday life in mind. Whether it’s morning coffee, helping with homework at the island, hosting friends, or gathering for family dinners, this space is now more functional and dreamy 😍

We worked with Walnut Hill Woodworking and Nittany Builders to maximize storage within the cabinetry and we designed a giant island for the family. Thank you to Custom Stone Interiors and Phoebus Primus as always for your excellent work, Blue Mountain hardwood for these beautiful white oak floors and Mike’s TV & Appliance for the appliances! Special thank you to our wonderful clients for allowing us to help make your dreams a reality 😊

This was such a fun little project to see come to life! One of our favorite parts of the design process is helping clients visualize the finished space before the work begins. The 3rd image is actually a photorealistic render that we created to show exactly how the updated dining room could look and seeing the final result come together so closely to the original vision was incredibly rewarding.

We’re grateful to our clients for trusting the process and allowing us to help transform this space into a warm, welcoming place for gathering with family and friends.

If you need help visualizing your space reach out to us, we’d love to help!

Perfect your morning ritual! We carved out a compact coffee spot with open shelving, warm light, and easy flow so that your becomes the best part of the day. Whether it’s coffee in the morning or some coffee & rum after a meal, we got you! 👊🏼

This bathroom started like a lot of them do… builder grade, basic, and missing personality. The goal was to warm the space up while making it feel more custom and balanced. We added rich wood cabinetry, modern vessel sinks, framed mirrors, and new lighting to completely change the feel of the room. Same footprint. Completely different space.

These kinds of transformations are our favorite because they show how much potential a room really has. A bathroom should feel designed, not just installed.

This bathroom came together beautifully. The green vanity adds the perfect amount of color along with the matte black fixtures that keep everything clean and modern. That round illuminated mirror just pulls it all together. Simple choices, but they make the whole space feel calm and finished.

It’s a reminder that bathrooms don’t need to be huge to feel like a big upgrade.

If you’ve got a space that’s feeling outdated, we’d love to help you turn it into something like this.

This garage went from storing boxes and bikes to being game day ready!

We love transforming overlooked spaces into something you actually want to walk into — whether that’s custom walls, bold graphics, or turning your garage into the ultimate Penn State welcome zone. If you’ve got a boring garage, we’ve got ideas.

Let’s make it a space you’re proud to open up when friends come over. Hit us up!

We spent a lot of time on the details in this kitchen. The cabinet profile was custom designed by us and the backsplash was imported from Spain. The texture and pattern catch the light in a way you just can’t replicate with standard tile. That’s how we approach every project, with thoughtful design, quality materials, and details most people don’t even realize are there.

If you’re going to invest in your home, do it once and do it right. We’d love to build something like this for you. Hit us up!
