Clear Path Recovery
Providing peer support, mental health, and substance-use treatment for individuals across Colorado.
Right now, people in our rural communities are struggling with addiction—and there is no comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation facility available to meet the growing need. We are launching a medically-assisted treatment center built on compassion, humanity, health, and action. Clear Path Recovery will fill a life-threatening gap—delivering evidence-based treatment, personalized recovery plans, and family-centered support. From the moment someone walks through our doors, they will feel welcomed, respected, and encouraged to begin their healing journey. This is a place where judgment is replaced with compassion, and where every individual is surrounded by the guidance, care, and belief they need to reclaim their lives. This is more than a facility—it’s a movement of strength, renewal, and lasting change where it’s needed most.

Powerful emotions are trying to tell us something. Before we react, we can pause, listen, and ask what the emotion is teaching us. Feel it. Learn from it. Grow through it. This Friday, take a moment to respond with intention instead of reacting from emotion. 🌱
If you or someone you know needs support, Clear Path Recovery is here. Call (970) 425-3181.
Don't make permanent decisions based on temporary emotions.
That's because emotions can dramatically change how we interpret what's happening
So here's a simple rule:
Feel it. Don't immediately act on it.
Come back to the problem when your emotional temperature has come down
And here's the important part:
Don't ignore your feelings.
You may still make the same decision after you've calmed down.
And that's okay.
The difference is you made the decision.
You don't have to deny what you're feeling.
If you're constantly making decisions you'll regret once your emotions settle down, Clear Path can help.
Just give yourself enough time to decide what you're going to do with it.
What happens when the treatment works, but the environment doesn't?
I've watched people make incredible progress in treatment.
Then they leave treatment, and suddenly, all of those skills have to compete with real life.
Then we look at that person and ask:
"Why didn't you use the skills we taught you?"
That's a fair question, but here's the question I'm more interested in:
Why are we measuring someone's ability to recover without measuring the environment they're being asked to recover in?
That's the Dandelion Effect.
Maybe the next evolution of treatment isn't getting better at treating people, it's getting better at building environments where recovery can survive.

This weekend I took time to put the phone down (well, except to take the picture) and really enjoy the day with our kids and grandkids. It help me put into perspective how important it is to reinforce those relationships and cherish every minute with them. LOL, grandkids are in the background NOT holding still!

Had the absolute greatest time at the Colorado Counseling Association conference this year in Denver, CO!
Thank you to everyone who has supported us through all of this. The video is just a snippet, but it shows the work necessary to create the amazing Family-Centered Recovery curriculum journey.

Clear Path is hitting the airwaves this morning!
Tune in to 105.7 with Andy Rice and listen to Jeff and Nicole talk about Clear Path, what we’re doing in the community, and the services we’re working to make accessible across Northeastern Colorado.
Will we be polished radio professionals?
Probably not. 😂
Will we know what we’re talking about? Absolutely.
Tune in this morning and hear what Clear Path is all about — with hopefully only a reasonable amount of live-radio shenanigans.
Anger isn't automatically bad.
Anger is information.
Sometimes it tells you:
“Something isn't okay”
Anger can tell you something is wrong, but it doesn't automatically tell you what to do about it.
It's about choices.
If anger has been costing you relationships, jobs, sobriety, or peace.
Don't just learn how to suppress it.
Learn how to understand it.
Call Clear Path Recovery at (970) 425-3181.

DON'T LET THE NOISE DISTRACT YOU FROM YOUR PURPOSE.
The world will always have something to say.
Stay focused on what matters. Keep walking your path.
Your purpose is worth protecting.
We keep asking why people relapse. Maybe we should start asking a different question.
What if we're treating the person… but missing the environment that's keeping them stuck?
A person can graduate from treatment with new coping skills, a relapse-prevention plan, and a genuine desire to change.
But what happens when they return to the same stress, relationships, isolation, and circumstances that surrounded their addiction?
What if recovery isn't just about changing the person?
What if it's also about changing what surrounds them?
🌼 The Dandelion Effect is coming.
A conversation about recovery, connection, and the ecosystems that shape our ability to heal.
Because sometimes, recovery doesn't fail because the person didn't change.
Sometimes, they're just not ready for the ecosystem.
