Come solo, bring your spouse, grab a friend, or finally text the person you’ve been saying, “We need to get together soon!” to for the past eight months.

We’re a social club for adults 40+, so we understand that leaving the house requires comfortable shoes, the right energy and a very good reason.

Monarch Elite Volleyball develops more than volleyball players. They build confident athletes, strong teammates and resilient young leaders.

The vision for Monarch Elite began with a coach who had worked with many teams but believed there was a different way to help young athletes grow.

That vision became personal when her daughter fell in love with volleyball at just eight years old.

She wanted to create the kind of environment where there was no single “look” that defined a volleyball player. A place where athletes of all skill levels can see themselves on the court, believe in their potential and have a real opportunity to grow.

At Monarch Elite, every player matters.

The coaches take the time to recognize where each athlete is starting, what they bring to the team and what they need to reach the next level. Progress is not measured only by wins, stats or trophies. It can be the first confident serve over the net, learning how to recover after a mistake, stepping into a leadership role or finally believing, *I belong here.*

That is what makes Monarch Elite different.

It has the close-knit, personal feel of a small club, paired with a serious commitment to player development. Athletes are supported, challenged and celebrated as they become stronger players, more dependable teammates and more confident young people.

That growth is exactly what keeps families coming back season after season.

The passionate coaching team is building more than a volleyball program. They are creating an inclusive, supportive and family-focused community where players grow together, families support one another and every athlete has the chance to discover just how far they can go.

Monarch Elite’s Fall League began September 1, and club tryouts are coming up:

🏐14 and under tryouts begin October 23, 2026
🏐15 and older tryouts begin October 30, 2026
🏐 Club season begins in November

St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, Sterling, Virginia is hosting a FREE Haiti Benefit Concert & BBQ on Sunday, August 23 from 6–8 PM. Everyone in the community is welcome!

There will be award-winning BBQ, live music from St. Matt’s 930 Band and Chasing Magic, the Marigold Bus & Booth photo booth (The Marigold Bus and Booth) , face painting, games, and more.

The evening benefits Saint Mathieu School in Chapoteau, Haiti, helping provide food and education for more than 200 children. Donations are welcome for those who would like to support the school.
