A NEW fall-inspired episode dropped today! 🍂

My favorite Florida FLOWERS to incorporate into Fall Seasonal Displays!

Seriously - if a client wants fall inspired flowers, I’m suggesting one of these.

Color for shade? Say less.

What was once an issue - low light and a consistently moist bed due to irrigation set on one zone for the entire property - turned out to be the perfect conditions for these plants.

There is a plant for almost any situation. Except perhaps total darkness…or space 🪐

Texas Sage in bloom. 🤌

Drought tolerant, FROST tolerant, soft silver foliage, and lovely lavender flowers. What more do ya want?

It’s my FAVORITE time of the year! In honor of Autumn, we are discussing how to create Fall Containers like a Pro using Florida plants.

October has become my entire personality. Happy Spooky Season 🦇

This summer tested me. Feeling extra thankful for the plants that stayed strong even during the worst of the heat.

Many folks don’t like Bromeliads.

“Too spiky”

False (insert Dwight meme). MANY bromeliads do not have serrated leaves.

“Ugly”

I’m a firm believer that if you don’t like a plant, it’s not really the plant you dislike but rather how it is used. There are no bad plants, just bad landscapes. I will die on that hill.

“I prefer flowers”

I LOVE flowers. Trust me, I design plenty with them! Give me all the salvias and flowering vines. BUT if you live in S. FL and want low-maintenance, YEAR ROUND color that is also heat and drought tolerant. You’re hard-pressed to find a flower that will prevail over the bromeliad.

Not every outdoor space needs a complete overhaul. This dreamy courtyard garden just needed a small refresh. Tiny change, big impact.

If you’re in Palm Beach Gardens-Jensen Beach and are looking for a personal gardener who will spend quality time with your plants on a monthly or quarterly basis - I might be that gal!

We had a Houseplant Gardener in the Carolinas reach out.

BK’s mother gifted her an English Ivy Houseplant and despite BK’s best efforts, the plant is struggling inside her home, and she wants to know why.

Today’s episode is not limited to English Ivy!

We dive deep into the unique microclimates of our homes (spoiler - every home is different).

Discuss various troubleshooting techniques to help you when an interior plant is struggling.

I also share some of my favorite indoor plants.
