Every survivor’s circumstances are different. A safety plan can help someone think through their options and identify resources for their situation. SafeSpace advocates can help with that conversation, confidentially and without judgment.

We were honored to have our CEO, Jennifer Fox, speak with the wonderful women of SMARTS (Seniors Making a Round Trip Somewhere) at the Blake Library! 💜

Jennifer shared more about SafeSpace, our mission, and the services we provide to individuals and families across the Treasure Coast. The ladies were engaged, curious, and asked some truly thoughtful questions, making for a meaningful and informative conversation.

We are grateful for the opportunity to connect with community members, share what we do, and help ensure that more people understand the resources available to those impacted by domestic violence.

Thank you to the SMARTS ladies and Blake Library for welcoming SafeSpace and giving us the opportunity to share our mission!

We want to take a moment to recognize two incredible volunteers who have poured their time, creativity, and hearts into our Connection Center. 💜

Emlyn and her daughter Yoselyn, who is a member of Girl Scout Troop 40630, took a space that needed some love and transformed it into something truly special. Through their hard work and incredible eye for organization and design, they created a space that feels welcoming, peaceful, organized, and accessible. A place where those we serve can feel comfortable and cared for.

The difference is remarkable, and we are so grateful for the time and energy you have given to SafeSpace. Your work may have changed a physical space, but the feeling you have created in it is what matters most.

We cannot do what we do without people like you. Thank you, Emlyn and Yoselyn, for sharing your time, talents, and generous hearts with SafeSpace. We are incredibly grateful for you both!

SOLUTION 💜

A solution is an action or process of solving a problem, an answer that helps create a way forward. For survivors of domestic violence, a solution can look different for everyone.

It can mean creating a safety plan, finding a safe place to go, connecting with resources or having someone there to listen and provide support.

During Domestic Violence Awareness Month, SafeSpace reminds our community that solutions start with support. We are here to help survivors and their families explore their options and take the next step when they are ready.

Together, we can turn awareness into action and help create pathways toward safety, healing and hope.
