A little 30th anniversary love from WPTV !

On Molly's birthday, we had the wonderful opportunity to welcome T.A. Walker and the WPTV team to Molly’s House as they helped shine a light on 30 years of welcoming patients and families to our community.

We loved having them here and are so excited to share the story again!

Meet Molly’s House guests Brandy and her son, TJ, and hear what this home has meant to their family. You’ll also hear from Molly’s sister, Kate, as she shares a little more about Molly’s dream and the story behind the home that has carried her name for 30 years.

From Molly’s original dream to the home this community has helped build over the past three decades, there is so much to celebrate — and so much to look forward to.

We’re so grateful to see Molly’s House featured by WPBF 25 News as we celebrate 30 years of welcoming patients and their families to Stuart. Thank you Jade Jarvis for coming out to meet Kevin and share our story!

What started with Molly Sharkey’s dream of creating a place where families could stay close during medical treatment became a reality in 1996. Thirty years later, her dream is still living on in the rooms, kitchens, playrooms and front porch of this home.

Every family who walks through our doors has a different story. Some stay for a few nights. Others call Molly’s House home for weeks or even months. But every one of them reminds us why this place matters.

And behind every one of those stays is a community that continues to show up. Our donors, volunteers, healthcare partners, board members, staff, and friends have helped keep these doors open for 30 years — and we couldn’t do this without you.

We’re celebrating what has been built, but we’re even more excited about what comes next.

On September 21, 1996, Molly’s House opened its doors for the first time. Thirty years later, those doors continue to welcome patients and families traveling to our community for medical care.

We can't wait to open our doors and celebrate 30 years of Molly's House with the community that made this dream possible.

A little bit of imagination goes a long way at Molly’s House!

These two little ladies spent two weeks at Molly’s House, finding plenty of ways to make the time between appointments feel a little more like home.

Last week, their mom scored some costumes on super clearance and the girls had the perfect excuse to put them to good use!

Even though they are here for medical reasons, there’s still room for dress-up, giggles, imagination, and just being a kid.

We love walking up the stairs to find moments like these!

I can not find enough words to express my gratitude for allowing me to stay at Molly's House. I was so relieved to have a place to stay that felt safe. It was perfect.
Besides having a place to go back and forth from the hospital, I met some truly amazing families. They are so inspiring and the kids were great.
Of course the fountain and garden were well enjoyed. I have the words typed into my phone.
We got home safely and so far Mary is doing well.
Love you all so so much."

Molly's House may be a beloved hometown charity in Stuart, FL, but the impact of love and support reaches far beyond our charming little town.
