On Monday, July 5, 1975 Carneys first train was trucked down Sunset Boulevard at 9 AM. it was supposed to come in in the middle of the night, but my father John paid the truck driver $200 to come in primetime traffic. Of course, this got great news coverage! Traffic was tied up for hours.
