Roberts Elementary PTO

Lace up your walking shoes, Roberts fam! Our annual Walk to School Day will be THIS WEDNESDAY, 10/7, starting at 8:00am at the Ruby Forest clubhouse! From there, expect a 20 minute walk to Roberts, where Rex will be there to give you a “high-paw” for a job well done.

For THIS WEEKEND ONLY, the top earning class for our Bucks for Bulldogs fundraiser will get a pajama and popcorn party! We can’t think of anything more fun than to be cozy and enjoy great snacks all at once.

Boost your student’s class before midnight tonight! 🍿 Donate at https://tinyurl.com/bucks2026

Have you heard? The first class from EACH grade level that gets to 100% participation will get a sweet surprise: DONUTS for the whole class! 🍩🍩🍩🍩 Remember: even the smallest contribution will help your student’s class get to full participation.

Support our school right this way! ➡️ https://tinyurl.com/bucks2026

Check out the classes already making WAVES with their kind contributions 🌊🌊. Remember, the class with the most donations this weekend will get a PJ party 🥳🥳 on Tuesday, so let’s keep those donations coming. Link in bio.

Happy Friday, Roberts fam! Don’t forget: in addition to supporting our school, every donation during Bucks for Bulldogs counts toward eligibility for some fabulous prizes, including local theatre tickets, Top Golf, limo and lunch with Dr. Jones, and our biggest prize: MLS tickets! ⚽️

We’re collecting donations all weekend long, and we’ll be bringing in more bucks through Friday!

Parents of fifth graders: It’s almost time to submit your child’s cover design for this year’s yearbook! This year, the theme is “OUR FUTURE IS BRIGHT”! Here are a few helpful details to keep in mind:

- Submissions accepted 10/21-10/23.
- All entries should be submitted in a manila envelope to the Media Center. Be sure to include your student’s name, teacher, and attention to PTO’s Yearbook Cover Contest.
- Entries must be on 8.5”x11” white paper.

✅ All entries MUST include the following in the design to be considered:
- Roberts Elementary School 2026-2027
- Roberts Core Values Words: Knowledge, Service, Leadership, Community
- The theme: OUR FUTURE IS BRIGHT

🎨 Mix up the medium you’re using! (Markers, crayons, paints, pencil, watercolor, even collage as long as it’s flat to the paper!) If the design is in pencil, please be sure it’s traced over in ink to display correctly.

The top 3 finalists will be voted on by fellow Roberts fifth graders. The winning design will be our yearbook cover, AND the winning designer will receive a free personalized copy of the yearbook!

For any questions about the contest, email [email protected]. We can’t wait to see your students’ submissions!

It’s TIME! Bucks for Bulldogs, Roberts’ biggest fundraiser of the entire school year, has officially launched! Check out the video from our principal, Dr. Jones, for more details on our fundraiser. Be sure to share the love and help us make Roberts shine bright! 한국어를 사용하는 가족분들을 위한 이번 모금 행사에 관한 정보도 함께 포함했습니다!

Did you know that we have a fantastic walking trail that leads right to Roberts from the Ruby Forest neighborhood? Celebrate Walk To School Day with us on Wednesday 10/7, where we’ll meet at the Ruby Forest club house and, from there, we’ll walk to school!

The walk will take approximately 20 minutes, and we’ll start walking at 8:00am. Best of all, Rex will be waiting for you at the end to high-paw you on a job well done! 👣🐾
