Este Domingo pasado, nuestro pastor compartió un poderoso mensaje bajo el tema “Paciencia Táctica”, recordándonos que si la batalla le pertenece a Dios, la estrategia también viene de Él.

Así como Israel tuvo que seguir las instrucciones de Dios alrededor de los muros de Jericó, nosotros también debemos aprender a confiar en Su estrategia, aun cuando no la entendamos. La victoria no viene de hacer las cosas a nuestra manera, sino de tener la paciencia, la obediencia y la confianza para seguir las instrucciones de Dios hasta ver caer los muros.

La batalla es de Dios. La estrategia viene de Dios. Y la victoria le pertenece a Dios.

TACTICAL PATIENCE

This past Sunday, our pastor shared a powerful message titled “Tactical Patience,” reminding us that if the battle belongs to God, the strategy comes from Him too.

Just as Israel had to follow God’s instructions around the walls of Jericho, we must learn to trust His strategy, even when we don’t understand it. Victory doesn’t come from doing things our way, but from having the patience, obedience, and trust to follow God’s instructions until we see the walls come down.

The battle is God’s. The strategy comes from God. And the victory belongs to God.

A través de Abraham, Caleb, David y Ana, vimos que el compromiso con Dios no depende de nuestra edad, temporada o circunstancias. Aun frente a la espera, los desafíos y la oposición, cada uno permaneció firme, confiando en la fidelidad de Dios.

Como iglesia, somos una generación comprometida con Dios, sabiendo que Él ha sido y seguirá siendo fiel con nosotros. Y cuando vivimos comprometidos con Él, nuestra vida también se convierte en bendición para otros.

Nuestros pastores también compartieron un poderoso mensaje sobre lo más importante para Jesús: amar a Dios y amar a nuestro prójimo. Amar a Dios es vertical. Amar a nuestro prójimo es horizontal. Y juntos, forman una imagen de la cruz. ✝️

Que nuestro amor por Dios no solo se refleje en lo que decimos, sino también en la manera en que amamos a quienes Él ha puesto a nuestro alrededor.

Our pastors also shared a powerful message about what matters most to Jesus: loving God and loving our neighbor. Loving God is vertical. Loving our neighbor is horizontal. And together, they form a picture of the cross. ✝️

Un verdadero intercesor es alguien dispuesto a ponerse en la brecha por otros, llevándolos delante de Dios en oración.

Abraham intercedió por Lot. Una y otra vez volvió delante de Dios, porque cuando amas a alguien, no te cansas fácilmente de orar por él.

No dejemos de interceder por nuestros hijos, nuestra familia, nuestros amigos, nuestra iglesia y aun por aquellos que quizás nunca sabrán que estamos orando por ellos. Nosotros también somos el resultado de alguien que decidió no dejar de orar por nosotros. ¡Dios todavía está buscando intercesores!

“Y busqué entre ellos hombre que hiciese vallado y que se pusiese en la brecha delante de mí, a favor de la tierra, para que yo no la destruyese; y no lo hallé.” — Ezequiel 22:30

Que seamos nosotros los que el Señor encuentre dispuestos a ponernos en la brecha.

¿A quién ha puesto Dios en tu corazón? No ignores ese nombre. Conviértete hoy en un intercesor por esa persona.

A true intercessor is someone willing to stand in the gap for others, bringing them before God in prayer.

Abraham interceded for Lot. Again and again, he went before God because when you love someone, you don’t easily grow weary of praying for them.

Let’s not stop interceding for our children, our families, our friends, our church, and even those who may never know we are praying for them. We, too, are the result of someone who decided not to stop praying for us. God is still looking for intercessors!

“So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one.” — Ezekiel 22:30 NKJV

May we be the ones the Lord finds willing to stand in the gap.

Who has God placed on your heart? Don’t ignore that name. Become an intercessor for them today.

Este pasado Domingo fuimos ministrados a través de la Palabra de Dios y aprendimos cómo reentrenar nuestra mente.

La realidad es que gran parte de quienes somos hoy ha sido moldeada por nuestra crianza, lo que hemos aprendido, las experiencias que hemos vivido e incluso los traumas que quizás hemos enfrentado. Nuestro entorno, nuestras experiencias y aun nuestro dolor nos han enseñado ciertos patrones de pensamiento y comportamiento.

Pero lo que se aprende también se puede desaprender. Con la ayuda del Espíritu Santo, podemos renovar nuestra mente, romper viejos patrones y aprender a creer lo que la Palabra de Dios dice acerca de quiénes somos. No tenemos que seguir justificando comportamientos dañinos diciendo: “Así soy yo.”

En Cristo, somos una nueva creación. Las cosas viejas pasaron. En Él, podemos cambiar. Podemos crecer. Podemos llegar a ser más como Él.
Es tiempo de reentrenar nuestra mente. 🧠

This past Sunday, we were ministered to through the Word of God and learned how to retrain our minds.

The reality is that much of who we are today has been shaped by our upbringing, what we’ve learned, the experiences we’ve lived through, and even the trauma we may have endured. Our environment, our experiences, and even our pain have taught us certain patterns of thinking and behaving.

But learned behavior can be unlearned. With the help of the Holy Spirit, we can renew our minds, break old patterns, and learn to believe what the Word of God says about who we are. We don’t have to keep excusing unhealthy behaviors by saying, “That’s just the way I am.”

In Christ, we are a new creation. The old has passed away. In Him, we can change. We can grow. We can become more like Him.

It’s time to retrain our minds. 🧠
