Khari, my other half, has officially been promoted 😂 and you may see him responding to some of your messages on Facebook and Hotplate. Please be patient with us while he learns the ropes — all of this is very new to him, but as Rooted & Rising Co. grows, it’s becoming more than I can manage alone. 🤎

Tomorrow is National Cinnamon Roll Day, so of course while I’m out running errands around Taunton, I’m handing out free cinnamon rolls along the way!

First stop: The Eyecare Center 👓 They’re working hard this Saturday morning, so they deserved a little cinnamon roll love.

Who knows where I’ll roll up next? 👀😂

A Rooted & Rising update 🌱

After participating in two Church Green Farmers Markets, we’ve made the decision not to return for the remainder of the season.

We’re very grateful to the Church Green Farmers Market for the opportunity and visibility it provided our growing business, and to the vendors who welcomed us, offered support, and made our time there such a positive experience.

Participating in the market also gave us the opportunity to evaluate what works best for Rooted & Rising Company at this stage of our growth. At both markets, our inventory sold out an hour into the day. I tried increasing production enough to maintain inventory throughout the full market would but it would require changes to our current baking schedule that don’t align with our commitment to small-batch freshness or the balance we need as a family-run business.

Our current model allows us to plan production carefully, maintain the quality and freshness we value, and build the business at a pace that works for our family.

Rooted & Rising will continue offering weekly drops with local parking lot pickup. Pickup details are provided directly to customers with their orders.

Thank you again to Church Green, our fellow vendors, and everyone who stopped by our table and supported us. We’re grateful for the experience and for everything we learned during our time there.

We’re looking forward to what’s next. 🤎🌱
