Total Turf Care

One thing you’ll notice in our photos — we don’t just clean the turf and leave the surrounding areas messy. As we work our way out, we generally rinse and clean up the concrete and areas around the turf so the entire space looks clean and pristine when we leave.

This home had about 400 sq. ft. of turf and received our full comprehensive package — machine cleaning and de-compaction, pet odor treatment, UV protection, minor maintenance, and a full-yard sanitization to treat more than just the turf itself.

Another Carlsbad project complete!

This one got the full treatment

We performed our sub-surface turf injection to treat odor below the turf, followed by a top-side odor treatment and full-yard sanitization.

We also pressure washed the pool rocks, rear patio concrete, side yard, and front driveway for a event that is coming up.

This customer went with our full cleaning package, which included machine brushing, deep cleaning, pet odor treatment, sanitization of the entire yard and turf, UV protection, and minor maintenance.

We also noticed a small area of turf melting. This type of damage can happen from intense window reflection or even reflection off vinyl fencing. Unfortunately, cleaning won’t repair melted turf, but we make sure our customers know what caused it and how to help prevent further damage. There are products on the market that can help reduce the effects of concentrated sunlight and reflections.

How do we measure your property? So you know you’re paying for exactly what we clean.

When you request a quote from Total Turf Care, we first use Google Maps to get a general measurement of your turf or concrete areas. This gives us a good starting point for your estimate.

Once we're at your property, we take it a step further. We use a LiDAR measuring app to get the exact square footage of the areas we're servicing — whether it's artificial turf or concrete for pressure washing.

We generally allow a 50 sq. ft. grace range if the actual measurement ends up being slightly larger. Most of the time, however, the actual measurement is less than our initial estimate, and when it is, we adjust the price down in your favor.

We'll also text you a screenshot of exactly what we measured, so you can see the areas we're charging for and how your final price was calculated.

No guessing. No inflated measurements. Just accurate measurements, honest pricing, and complete transparency.

Attached are example measurement screenshots you’ll receive during your service.

This San Diego backyard is getting wedding-ready!

We just completed our full artificial turf cleaning package, including pet odor removal, full-yard sanitization, and machine cleaning. We also pressure washed the concrete around the pool and completed some light soft washing on the exterior of the front of the home to get the entire property looking its best.

The homeowners are getting ready for a wedding celebration in their backyard, and we were happy to be a small part of the process. We really appreciate the trust they put in us to get their outdoor space ready for such an important event.

This process might not look like much, but there’s a LOT going on behind the scenes.

Years of testing, tweaking, and refining our process and formula for professional pet odor removal—condensed into one video.

GPM, sprayer ratios, injector sizing, dilution rates, application volume, coverage… there’s a lot more to it than just spraying.

We use two different processes depending on whether we’re sanitizing or treating pet odors, and our odor removal formula is specifically selected to perform in the California summer heat. And yes… there’s definitely a little bit of a secret formula involved. 🤫

The process works on artificial turf, rock, mulch, decomposed granite, concrete, and just about everything in between.

We spend more per gallon on our professional commercial odor-removal formula because we’re focused on results—not finding the cheapest product we can buy for temporary fixes.

No shortcuts. Just the right products, the right application, and years of trial and error to get it right.

Another commercial townhome community in Murrieta got a fresh cleanup for their dog park 🐕 and playground 🛝.

The dog park got a serious deep clean. We brought in our professional trailer-mounted equipment to thoroughly clean and sanitize the turf, followed by our pet odor treatment to tackle the buildup and odors that come with heavy daily use.

We also hauled in our own water for the job, so we didn’t have to use the community’s water or inconvenience any of the residents.

Once the dog park was done, we moved over to the playground. We degreased and sanitized the entire play structure and pressure washed the surrounding park benches.

These areas get a ton of use, especially the dog parks, so they can really benefit from a good professional cleaning.

We genuinely enjoy working with our commercial communities and seeing the difference when the job is done. 🐾🐕

This is why artificial turf needs to be professionally cleaned.

This Riverside County home had a serious amount of dog hair, dirt, and buildup trapped down in the turf. The picture shows just how much came out during the cleaning.

We completed a full turf cleaning and also pressure washed the concrete squares running through the middle of the turf while we were there.

A lot of what gets trapped in artificial turf isn’t always visible from the surface. After a proper cleaning, the difference is in the details — cleaner turf, fresher smell, and a much better overall appearance.
