I am notching this 4x6 roughs sawn Douglas fir beam that will go in the entryway on the Rock wall. We currently have a 2x8 up there that has an LED strip light in it. We decided we do not want to see the strip light and we want it to cast light behind a beam. This beam will be routed out as a cap to go over the 2x8. There's a lot of delicate cuts that have to happen here for this to fit properly.

This beam that I am cutting all the notches in and routering out the back. Is going in the entryway on the rock wall where we have a 2x8 up top that has a long LED light in it. We do not want to see the LED light when you walk in the door so I am making this beam cap to go over it. It has to be precisely cut so it will fit and look like it was done prior to drywall.

The Vineyard project is getting a completely new fence surrounding the property. All of these guys from 3T Fence are doing an outstanding job considering it is very hot outside.

Philip Phillip Marcotte is doing a great job on the wallpaper installation. He is truly a master at his craft!

A lot of people think that I take things a little too far when it comes to being straight, even, level, plumb. I have been this way my whole life and I absolutely do not take anything too far.
I want things done in a professional manner. It's not only what I expect out of everybody this is what I would expect to get from a contractor if I hired them to build my project!
It would seem that there's never enough time to do it right but always enough time to do it over 🤷🏼
I want it done right every single time.. as a result, there are times when I have to just go fix it myself and move on. A lot of you might say this is just a stupid box in the ground, what does it matter?
It matters because small things like this that seem unimportant really demonstrate whether or not you take pride in your work or if you even care. I CARE!

It's an awesome day on the vineyard project! A lot of people ask me how my company became so successful or how I got to where I'm at. Because of the people I have always associated myself with. I have the right people performing the right task on all of my projects. We treat each other like family.
