Team Racetech drivers Lee Hartman and David H. Davies rewrote the Flexjet NHRA Factory Stock Showdown record book at the inaugural Great Lakes Nationals.
Hartman set a new category E.T. record with a 7.558-second pass in his Dodge Challenger Drag Pak, while Davies twice reset the speed record, ultimately reaching 186.10 mph. Both record-setting performances came with Racetech containment seats.
The record-setting teams now head to St. Louis for the NHRA Midwest Nationals.

This weekend, Top Fuel driver Antron Brown will be honored as part of the Top 75 drivers in NHRA history.
"I have numerous wins back-to-back, especially in the fuel ranks. I remember winning that race, and it defined me winning the championship several different times. But the coolest part is being in the Top 75 drivers in NHRA history, and to do it at my place, my spot at Gateway, is going to be super, super cool, super, super awesome.” says Brown regarding his history at the Midwest Nationals and being honored as a top driver.

Brett LaSala is laying some booming passes down in the Stick Shift class at FL2k. He reset the H-pattern record twice in one day. The new record stands at 6.458 at 233 mph.
Now the question is, will he go quicker and faster in 2026?

Shawn Langdon knows how important playing the starting line can be. Last weekend, this importance proved itself again as Langdon defeated teammate Doug Kalitta on a holeshot with a slower 3.739 vs Kalitta's 3.722.
It was a final of teammates at the Nationals at the Rock last weekend in Pro Stock Motorcycle between Gaige Herrera and Richard Gadson. Herrera was just .018 red at the tree.
“Gaige and I are extremely competitive with each other, sometimes to the point where the lines are blurry in our competitiveness because he’s a friend. I’ve got a lot of respect for the guy, but I’m playing mind games the whole time."

In a wild instance of history repeating itself, Matt Hagan was the last person to win a race in a Funny Car at Rockingham Dragway in 2008 during an IHRA event, opposite Paul Lee. Now, he's the first winner in a Funny Car in 2026, again, competing against Pail Lee in the final round. Back-to-back wins at Rockingham Dragway for Hagan after almost 20 years!
