Drinking it is a lot more relaxing than whatever "it" is that's been going on. Come sip your troubles away at one of TWO fun Arts & Drafts events happening this week — because apparently we couldn't pick just one day to have a good time.

Temecula Plant Company is back at the meadery this Thursday, 9/24 for a night of plants, prizes, mead, and good company — and everyone leaves with a plant. Yes, everyone.

Bingo cards in one hand, a glass of Chubby Cheeks in the other, with Tacos Clandestinos on site so dinner's covered too. Spots are limited, so don't sleep on this one. Last one sold out!

🍂🍄 Whimsical Wellness Wednesday 🍄🍂

Gather 'round, friends — Haus of McKhanthy Enterprises is casting a little Mabon magic at the tasting room this Wednesday!

Mabon is the autumn equinox, the one enchanted evening a year when day and night hang perfectly balanced, like a scale nobody's tipping. The old stories call it the "second harvest" — and funny enough, that's exactly when the bees wrap up their year of hard work too. Legend has it bees were once thought to be little messengers between our world and the next — beekeepers would even whisper the year's news to the hive so the bees wouldn't feel left out. So really, every glass of mead is just a bee's gossip, fermented 🐝

And what did people do with all that mead once the honey came in? They gathered. For a thousand years, the mead hall was the place — storytelling, toasting, shoulder-to-shoulder with your neighbors while the nights got longer. We're just doing what mead halls have always done, minus the Viking longship parking situation 😉

So this Wednesday, 9/23 pull up a seat in our mead hall we call The Meading Room. Free garland-crafting with tiny cinnamon mushrooms, dried fruit, and fabric bunting (we supply every last acorn of it), mead in hand, snackies on the table, and Dr. McCarthy waiting to rub the tension out of your shoulders — also free, also magical 🪄

No tickets, no minimums, no pressure. Just good company and a little whimsy. Bring the kids, bring your favorite person or two, bring nothing but yourself.

​Over at the Europa Food & W**e Festival, Shannon and Cory were busy proving that mead is definitely NOT stuck in the Dark Ages. Let’s just say some minds (and taste buds) were blown. 🤯🍷

​Meanwhile, at Vista Viking Fest, our friends at Hidden Hive were total legends, pouring our mead for the marauding hordes. They did such a great job, we’re plotting to have them make even more guest appearances in our tasting room. 😉 Keep an eye out!

​And a massive shoutout to our son Josh, who kept the mead flowing back at the meadery all day yesterday! We literally couldn't do this without his dedication (and because he’s really good at it). ❤️

​Still got that festival fever? 🔥 Hidden Hive is back at Viking Fest today! Go say hi to them at the shared booth and grab a glass.

Cooler weather + Liber-TEA back on tap = the good kind of Friday 🙌

It's been a year, but our fan-favorite Liber-TEA (raspberry + Assam black tea mead) is finally back for a limited pour! Grab a glass, claim a table, and stay a while!

Bring your crew for Giant Uno, let the kids battle it out on the Switches, or test your skills on our RC crawling mountain (yes, we built a mountain for tiny trucks — come see it). Bring your own crawler or borrow one of Cory's! He may be an only child, but he'll share, promise!

With 18 libations on tap plus endless blending combos, hard ciders, a cyser, and our NA Freckless for the DD, we've got what you MEAD tonight. Open 4-9PM tonight!

Heads up: we're off tomorrow pouring at the Vista Viking Festival — our coming-out event with our friends at Hidden Hive — and at Europa's Food & W**e Festival in Temecula, where we'll be setting the record straight: mead isn't honey w**e, because there are no grapes in ours... unless we're making a pyment. Then all bets are off. 😏 🍇🍯
