Can’t find a nice red powernet? Then dye it! I use 454 Poinsettia Acid Dye. Get your water just up to boiling. Add the required amount of powdered dye and stir. Put your prewashed and still damp nylon/lycra powernet in very carefully. Keep the fabric moving. After a few minutes you’ll see that the color doesn’t really want to change anymore and is a bit pinkish. Still color in the water but no changes. Next, add some citric acid (also from Dharma) to the water and boom! You’ve just given the dye the strength it needed to exhaust the remaining color and your red is now vibrant! The remaining water should be clear.
