AIS President & CEO Steve Ennis joined industry peers at the 2026 ECC PerspECCtives Conference in Austin, where the conversation centered on what’s next for leadership, innovation, and project delivery.
Steve was joined by leaders from our family of companies: JP Bell, Managing Director of Gulf Coast Industrial, and JC Curtis, General Manager of Arctic Testing & Inspection.

At AIS, safety goes beyond the jobsite.
This week, we recognize Su***de Prevention Week and the importance of looking out for one another. The construction industry faces unique challenges, and sometimes the most meaningful thing we can do is check in, listen, and remind those around us that they are not alone.
Every conversation matters. Every connection matters. Together, we can help create a culture where seeking support is encouraged and where mental health is treated with the same importance as physical safety.

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the courage of the first responders, service members, and everyday Americans who answered the call in the days that followed.
As we reflect on this day, we remember those we lost, those who served, and the resilience that continues to unite our nation.

10 Monumental Projects | Employee Highlight #1 Deborah Manspeaker
We are proud to spotlight Human Resources Lead Deborah Manspeaker of RSI.
If you ask Deborah what the lifeblood of an organization is, her instant answer will be “the employees.” Her dedication to supporting staff by making sure the workforce has everything they need to shine in their roles proves this statement. She views HR as a strategic business partner dedicated to mitigating employment risk, ensuring a positive safety environment, and fostering a supportive culture.
Currently, Deborah is supporting an initiative to align job titles and descriptions across the contract, ensuring these documents have room to evolve alongside the organization. Her focus on team success and continuous improvement has yielded strong results; since joining LMSP in 2021, Deborah has helped maintain an impressive 97–98% fill rate for open positions.
Thank you, Deborah, for your outstanding leadership, flexibility, and dedication to supporting staff!
10 Monumental Projects | #1: U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Legacy Management
RSI supports the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Legacy Management’s mission of safeguarding human health, environments, and public properties bound to the nation’s post-closure responsibilities at former atomic defense sites. LM manages 103 legacy sites in 29 states and Puerto Rico.
One excellent example of a project that helped protect human health and the environment was the work done to stabilize a legacy uranium disposal site in Colorado. Through innovative water extraction and environmental restoration efforts, the work preserved long-term site integrity while safeguarding surrounding communities and natural resources.

Su***de Prevention Week
A simple conversation can make a difference.
In our industry, we're trained to look out for hazards on the jobsite. During Su***de Prevention Week, we're reminded to look out for one another, too.
Checking in on a coworker, listening without judgment, and encouraging someone to seek help can have a lasting impact. We all have a role to play in creating a workplace where people feel supported, valued, and comfortable asking for help when they need it.
If you notice someone struggling, don't hesitate to reach out. Sometimes the most important question we can ask is, "Are you okay?"
