The Sol Devils

The Sol Devils were founded in 1999 by 10 fans that started tailgating with Hibachi’s in the parking lot. Since then, we have grown to over 100 members and become one of ASU’s largest athletic booster groups. Every member is a significant donor to the athletic department individually and, through their involvement in the Sol Devils, helps provide additional support for student athletes. We also throw the largest and best tailgate on campus. This tailgate continues to grow each year and now encompasses nearly 15,000 square feet directly outside of the southwest gate of Sun Devil Stadium. The tailgate is a private event for Sol Devils, their invited guests and our sponsors. Depending on the game and the layout from week to week, attendance will range from 600 to 1000 fans. Each tailgate includes music, free food, open bar, private restrooms and televisions.
