GHOST didn't slow down. With Keurig Dr Pepper now the majority owner, the brand picked up access to KDP's own sodas, and the results speak for themselves. 7UP Lemon Lime landed in March. A&W Root Beer is up next, with Secure-A-Can open right now.

P&G paid about 7.6 times revenue for a brand built on in-house testing, four rounds of internal QC per product, and clinical partnerships with six academic medical centers. The certifications and manufacturing should survive fine. The science budget is the open question.

P&G already ran this experiment once with New Chapter in 2012. It took six years to show up.
